What's on your Tuesday Menu?

Good Morning, friends! I am thrilled to be posting from my cozy sofa, in my own house, with my kitties snoring nearby. Yesterday was a decent drive -13.5 hours, which was impressive since we hit NYC right at 5pm rush hour. We listened to a good book and only took 3 super quick stops. Oh, and we ate like completely irresponsible pre-ops, but let's not talk about that part.
Thanks for the well wishes on my knee! I wore the over-the-knee compression sock during the drive and it's still feeling good. I was even able to walk up the stairs like a normal person and not one at a time last night! I think I am going to capitalize on this new found range of motion and try either the recumbent bike or the elliptical today.
I also need to get back to reality and write a ton of papers, bake, decorate, unpack from the trip, etc, etc. Whoo!
QOTD: What's something you are anxiously waiting for right now? I have two things. First, my professors in both classes this semester have been horrid about grading in a timely manner. We are at the start of week 6 and I haven't gotten a grade in either class since week 3. I refresh the page a few times an hour. I also ordered a bunch of shorts off the internet on May 15th. At first I thought it was a scam, but after a few weeks, I finally got a tracking number and it looks like the package finally made it to Los Angeles but it's stuck there and I have no idea if I am going to get them while it's still "shorts weather."
B: Protein Coffee

Good morning QJB and menuers,
Welcome home! Sounds like a successful trip if you don't count the food? And a fun catch up day for you.
QOTD- Some path forward for whatever prank my body has been pulling on me. And for being done with procedures for the foreseeable future. They do cause quite a lot of anxiety for me because of the neuropathy plus needles.
Speaking of which, procedures today! I shouldn't weigh after colon prep but yeah, I have. And I'm officially down ovwe 150 pounds now since my referral date last April. Wild, especially approaching my one year surgiversary.
I'm packing my little overnight bag including a kindle, warm clothes, and my Switch for Animal Crossing that I still play with my family.
Oh, and my AC is fixed! Happy dance! He said it was stuck at high pressure and one of the wires was partially melted. Asked if I've seen a power surge. I mean...old house and everything kicking on dims the lights. Just make sure it doesn't burn down...
Menu - Jus****er and colon prep! Soup tonight I hope!
Happy Tuesday!

Given that most of us weigh daily or as per our personal schedules, no matter what, this is not the group that is going to say "you shouldn't have weighed today".

I weigh every day!!! Keeps me accountable. At my lowest I had lost 170 pounds. I do not see why any doctor should be worried about your weight. Even if your BMI is below 20 you should bounce back in the next year or 2. Enjoy the skinny while you can.

Wow! 170 pounds! That's amazing. I'm a work in progress on how I feel about where I am, though. In the spirit of TMI, I haven't had monthlies since March. I'll know in a couple weeks whether that's due to the rapid drop in March and April. We'll see where I bottom out but I do need and want muscles back, too!
