I just read that Ford doesn't make cars anymore. It's kinda true. They have the Mustang, and lots of SUVs and trucks. No other sedans, which is wild.

They have that mustang electric SUV now too. It starts at $42,000. I guess they really do not care about the working man anymore.

Most people want SUV not a sedan anymore.

Yep. That's literally what's happening. The market for cars in the US is not there. It will be interesting to see what happens as things move more and more toward electric. I always love comparing the difference between here and Europe. Once, we had a pretty good snowstorm where I lived. My European ex BF was the only human who would ever have said that it was a good thing I had such a big, sturdy car to drive around in the storm. Yep, still my prius. And yep, huge by comparison to his car at the time (Daihatsu). Him being a beanstalk, I could never get over seeing him fold into origami shapes to get in and out of the tiny car.

G'morning all!

Wow, QJB, that's a lot of schoolwork in one day. But I get it, you wanna do it all so you can enjoy your time away. Great job!

Week 1 of my new program is done with no scale movement. I was telling a friend I guess I'm good at maintenance but not at the weight I'd like to be. I'm still committed to the 6 weeks so we shall see. I am sore all the time, their HIIT program on top of my regular workout is killing me...again, 5 more weeks won't kill me.

QOTD: my only criteria for a car has always been "does it come in red?" I've had Fiat Panda, Jeep wrangler, Toyota four runner, BMW X5, and now an EV Kona. So I guess I have zero loyalty. It depends what my needs are at the moment.

My meals yesterday:

  • Coffee
  • Costco egg bites
  • Iced coffee w/PP, jello
  • Left over Steak fajitas with veggies & left over crab ceviche
  • E: 5 miles wog, 1/2 hr HIIT

Happy TACO Tue!

Glad you made it through the first week. I'm sure it's a shock to your body with the changes you're making, so hopefully you'll see a response in the next week!

Good morning. You are unstoppable. Wow.

QOTD: not really. When I like a car I like it, but when I see something better for me, and similar price - I get it. Last 2 cars are Hyundai Santa FE SUV. I absolutely love them. That's why I got a newer version to get more options. Heated and Colled seats - I'm always overheating, great AC, plus many other options Hyundairipped from German cars. Before that we had Hyundai sonata and I hated it. I also had Acura MdX and I liked it, but I didn't like how much gas it burned and that I had to refuel it 2x a week. I had other cars before that.

When I was at herbal conference 2 weeks ago I bought some items. One of them was a small bottle of natural herbal roll-on pain mix. Yesterday I decided to try it. I put that on my knees and my shins. O boy. It's still burning today. It has strong herbal stuff including capsicum and pepper. It started burning app 15 min after application, and continued burning. At 45 min, I decided I needed to wa**** off. I used grease, then soap and water. It helped a little. Then ...15 min later the burn returned. Ugh. I woke up with my knees burning. It would be fun day today. Lol.

My theory is that lotions- oils like that work for pain because the new pain from them overpowers any other pain you had. Suddenly the pain you had isn't so bad after all.

BTW- if you ever use anything like that - cleaning it with jus****er and soap is a really really bad idea. Like the worst you can do. (I know from past experience). Using fat- grease- i.e. butter, coconut oil, olive oil - then wipe it dry with paper, repeat a couple of times can help to remove that medicated oils from your skin. Then you could wa**** with a gentle soap and water. Do not touch your eyes or sensitive parts of your body. Dry it with towel you can trash, or paper towels. Residue on regular towels can hurt you in more than one way many weeks after and they could spread to other items you wash together with that towel - again- im talking from experience. I've been experimenting with Essential oils for many years - and I've done things.

Today I'm having a massage in a middle of the day, so I'm going to work late.

Accountability: I ate a whole mid size watermelon over the weekend. I was planning to have some, but... o well...it could have been worse things. Right?

Menu:

Liquids

L: meat/cheese roll ups.

D: chicken, vegetables

S: apple, cheese...

Well that sounds like a horrible experience with the lotion. I get the theory but I've had enough of a burn just from rubbing my face or something after cutting a hot pepper...I can only imagine what it did.

I also ate most of a personal watermelon over the weekend. No regrets!
