how far out are you? Elevated liver enzymes aren't that uncommon for a year or two after bariatric surgery. In fact, mine weren't normal again until the beginning of year 3...

Good morning. We had a super nice day in the sunshine yesterday. Tried two wineries and bought a few bottles. I had one tiny sip of each tasting and I'd estimate that added up to one ore two tablespoons of wine. However, after my sip, I would poor the rest of my glass into Roger's. He was cross eyed and listing by the end of our tour. We got some food and he went to bed at about 7 pm.

Accountability for the day was pretty good. They were not serving THE cheeseburgers , dammit, but we found an excellent option and I ate the inside 3/4's of one. And one bite of the peanut butter salted caramel cookie.

Today we move on again. To the Solvang area. Creeping ever closer to home.

QoTD. No. Not me. But my daughter just started a coop and the ladies should start laying with in the next month or so, so I see fresh eggs in my near future.

menu today

B. Cheese and egg taco. I use the cheese for the shell

L. Sliced turkey and cheese curds

D. I slow cooked pork shoulder yesterday the entire day in my crockpot. It's amazing and that's happening for dinner tonight. I just need to reheat and add a salad.

Peace Everybody

There's a place in Boston that wins Best Burger in the local papers and magazines every year. I've never been. They only make a certain number, and there is a line waiting every day. If I got inside and they were gone, I'm afraid of what I might do.

Ohhh I feel you on this. We went to a highly recommended prime rib restaurant by Custer State Park. We were warned they run out early and don't take reservations. I called ahead and they put me on the wait list so we walked in to a table. Prime rib was still available. In 8,12, 16 and 24 ounce servings. Rog went with 24 and we had left overs for days! I'd have cried if we missed out.
