What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
So there's a similar routine from a guy and a bowl of soup at a restaurant. Customer is served soup and waitress goes on to the next table. The waitress comes back and how everything is. He says the soup's wonderful and you must taste it. She says no, he insists... Eventually, the waitress goes to taste the soup, starts scanning the table and asks, 'where's the spoon?' 'Aha!,' the man says, 'No Spoon.'

Good morning all and Happy Friday,
There week ends, the weekend begins. It is really gorgeous right now. I'm cruising out to the north burbs to my wrist surgeon and have the windows down. All is good with the world at this moment. Heading to a picnic/beach day tomorrow, making a shrimp boil sat night, and blues fest Sunday. It seems like a great weekend ahead.
Happy Birthday Grim! What are you both doing for the Ham King's special day? Maybe the cake below?
QOTD- I joined OH fall '21. I had joined multiple pre/pay surgery Facebook groups, IG, and Pinterest profiles. There was some information and recipes but people were so negative. I'm lucky to found y'all.
B: Tangerine and breakfast with an old mentor.
L: ?? I'm going to have to resist the urge of stopping at my favorite Japanese resto while in the burbs today.
D: boneless chicken thigh taco. This El Yucateco black xxx habanero hot sauce is amazing and spicy.
Pictures- Grim's Ham cake, this months potluck I'm organizing, taste of Melrose Park clown with accompanying clown doll in stroller(he doesn't work there), last night's taco.

Happy Friday! It's been a week for sure but the weekend will be great.
Heading up to Estes Park this afternoon, will be a weekend of girl time, with some spa-ing, some hiking (or off road walking), some good meals, a seance at the Stanley Hotel from The Shining, and a distillery visit and a lot of rain! Other than the hiking/walking I don't think I'll get much exercise in so I did a really good rowing session today, I'm right at 25mile for the month of June so a weekend off will not derail my goal.
The high likelihood of rain means the whole weekend could turn into this and we'd be very happy with that too!
Menu today
coffee plus half and half X2
Skyr
barebells bar
cheese stick
no idea what else
My pictures are of some of the crazy clouds we had this week.
Have a great day!

Whoops forgot the QoTD
My RD told me about the site at my last visit, 2 weeks before surgery. I have been on and active ever since. It's good to have a community that gets it!
