I lost about eight lbs (slowly) and then it stopped. I was hoping to lose more like 15. I'm still on it, but mostly because I discovered taking a half a pill around noon is more effective for me than taking a whole pill before breakfast, because my worst time of day is late afternoon (I would not take a full pill at noon because I'd be awake half the night!). so anyway, I've managed to stretch the prescription out pretty far because I only took half a tablet on a lot of days. Evidently I'll have to cut more calories in order to lose more weight, but boy, it's not easy - and I'm not even sure I could sustain it for long.

I doubt she'll try anything else. I'm only 10 lbs overweight, so I can't see her prescribing something stronger like ozempic. Plus she's fine with her older adult patients being 10-15 lbs overweight as long as they're otherwise healthy, so I think this may be the end of the road. I need to decide whether I'm OK where I'm at, or if I'm willing to cut down more on calories.

Good morning ~ Sorry to hear you are feeling worse and struggling with schoolwork. Please take care of yourself. I have another busy day and I'm running late so short and sweet today.

QOTD - I would agree with the 80's! I had THE best 80's hair, and even a few perms. High waisted, pleated baggie pants with pegged legs were my jam - good times. Otherwise, I wear what I like regardless of trends.

Accountability wasn't great - unplanned protein bar and protein crackers happened - anxiety sucks. Snacks are planned today should I need them but normally I don't snack.

b- coffee, protein bar

l - FLP shake

d - pesto chicken

s - carrots, jello, pickles

e - gym - circuit training

653 cals, 81g protein

Have a great day!

How about the home perm? My mom would give us perms at home and sometimes your hair would end up damaged/dry or over curly when you just wanted body. I can't even imagine getting a perm now. Thank god for mousse and gel for added hold and body!

My hair stylist says perms are still a thing! More targeted than when I was trying to get the molly ringwald look but still it was a shock
