I was on Premarin until they realized how much it was contributing to cancer, then I switched to the progesterone cream. It is a much safer option.

I would try to see. I'm on 200mg progesterone pill, and taken just before bed. That often knocks me out in 15-30 min after I take it. My doc doesn't like progesterone creams. But i probably malabsorb some of it. My friend was taking 200 when she started, then had to reduce to 150, and its now on 100mg per day-night. She needed larger amount when she started, but after a while it was making her physically ill. I probably need to at to my doc to see if I could reduce my dose to 150... I sometimes have a problem with walking up... plus Im now taking small doses of estrogen, so it may make sense.

I get such a severe menopause symptoms (most likely due to pituitary dysfunction) that my doc doesn't have a problem prescribing them to me. for now. All of them. She even tried to advocate for me to my insurance to cover my testosterone. (no go - they don't cover that for woman even if absolutely needed). My endocrinologist mentioned about taking me off HRT when I reach 65... and I think I gave her "the look" because she quickly added - "we will tapper you very slowly". (I'm 62)

I'm on bioidentical HRT: estrogen patches, progesterone 200Mg, (taken at night only) and skin gel/cream for testosterones -in the morning. I reduced my patch from 1 to 0.5 patch 2x a week. (Dotti 0.1mg transdermal patch).

If nothing else- you may need to change a doctor. Or go private. I tried to stop using the testosterones, but after 1 month I started getting really bad brain fog - short term memory issue, so I back on it. The 1.6% is really good for me. I used 1% but it was not strong enough. Most woman don't needed if their body makes some, but my tested levels almost always come as "0". It really helps me with memory, energy, and even feeling good about myself.

Good morning, everybody!

Our computer did not self-heal while we were away, so I?m still posting by phone. Hopefully, Marilyn can get it figured out this week or bring it to a repair service.

I'm way behind on OH, will have to catch up over the weekend.

I?m a little bit sunburned and my lips are chapped. On Saturday, the boat caught the side of a big swell and I was tossed across the room, hitting my butt on one of the berths. Fortunately, it?s just soft tissue and no bone, but it hurt and hasn?t even started bruising yet.

The skin on the right half of my butt is a lot tighter looking than the left side, maybe I need a matching injury.

We had a great time: fishing Thursday was absolutely amazing and we caught 6 Wahoo. Friday was beach/pool/bar/food. Saturday was the rough sea day but we added a 7th Wahoo. Sunday was a repeat of Friday. Yesterday was a travel day and I have to work today.

QOTD: A bottle of 2018 Chateau Montelena Chardonnay that I texted Lisa to reminisce about our adventures.

breakfast: protein bar

lunch: chicken

dinner: leftover sandwich from the airport

Have a great day, all!

You were missed. Glad your back. Maybe rub that butt cheek out at the gym before it bruises. Hope it feels better soon.

Welcome back! Did you get to bring the fish home? I was tossed across a boat once (due to erratic boat diver) onto some metal. I had a huge bruise on my hip that was painful. I can image yours doesn't feel too good. Hopefully, you won't bruise, and the pain goes away quickly.
