Both my dogs love the cave provided by the recliner. I've smooshed them more than once. Poor boys.

Those are the worst incidents when you have to figure out what's going on. Glad the pup is okay and of course he forgives you.

When our cats were kittens they loved to explore under the recliner. I was so paranoid I would just climb out of it while reclined. Now, they just don't care about it at all.

Good morning! Today marks 12 full weeks on the road. Wow. The last month has been easy and calm and no death threats we uttered. My weight today is exactly what it was on the day we left. Though I definitely feel less toned. Try as I might, I'm not doing a good job with weights and bands. Relying on yoga and walking as my primary form of exercise and I think it shows in how my pants fit.
We met an old friend for dinner last night at a bbq place and I had a burnt ends stuffed potato with melted cheese, sour cream, bbq sauce. I ate less than a quarter of it and one small cube of buttered jalapeño cornbread. I'm not one bit sad about my choices and I have so many leftovers!
The Truman museum was excellent. But I must admit, I feel like my brain is full. And yet we are off to Abilene, KS today to go to the Eisenhower museum tomorrow. I know, wha wha, my life is hard.

QOTD I don't know about a zombie apocalypse, but the plan is I am a food hoarder and my son in law is a firearms collector, so we all get together and I cook and keep my eyes closed the rest of the time.

foods today

About a month. And based on our wants list, it's not enough time. My only pressing thing is my granddaughter's "promotion " from fifth grade to sixth. And really, is it going to harm our relationship for life if I miss it?

I had a friend who once drove from here to Texas and visited every presidential museum and library between here and there (sometimes driving a few miles out of his way to get to one). That sounds like something my husband would do, too! They are pretty interesting, though...

They ARE interesting! We missed one in New York, dang it. I told Rog when Obama's opens, we'll fly back and rent a car to see that one and the one we missed. And if you could see our route, lol. We came pretty far to see this one , and then are going right back to the exact same campground to spend a night to get back on our main track. But we'll probably never do such a big trip as this, so we are trying to be as flexible as possible.

QJB-lazing on the hammock sounds wonderful. I am happy to hear the swelling is going down on your leg. Hopefully, you will be fully mended soon. I am curious as to what you were watching the created all of the abuse to your leg from Grim?

I had a busy weekend with getting my garden together. We moved all the raspberries and blackberry bushes to the new planters. Although I am a little concerned about the blackberry bushes, they are looking half dead. I may have to purchase a new one. The new blueberry bushes have been planted, strawberries transplanted, and veggies started in the garden. I am hoping for a better crop of veggies this year, Last year due to the weather the production was lackluster. Already the weather seems to be better this year. I am so excited, DH put in drip lines for me on my new planters so that will reduce the amount of time needing to water the container plants. My big raised garden didn't benefit but I can just put a sprinkler in the middle and let it run a big every so many days. We did the Mother's Day meal out on Saturday which was nice. I heard on the radio that restaurants dread Mother's Day meals due to the large tables of guests. We were a small party of 4 so not so bad. Saturday, DD, myself and DD's friend did the beginning dance class. It was more jazzersize based but was fun with some pretty good moved that could translate to the club.

QOTD: I am not a good prepper for the zombie apocolypse. I am wanting to be like Michone on the Walking Dead. Skilled survivalist but reality is not that. I don't want to be the walking dead though.

Accountability: good

Same food meals. Although I am on a dinner cruise tonight for a work event so dinner will be TBD
