What's on your Tuesday Menu?
G'morning all!
QJB - no more exciting movies until complete healed knee/leg!
Related to that meme, when DH tried to coach me (very bad idea in itself) he would tell me to picture a tiger is chasing me, run as fast as you can. We were doing HIIT and I was supposed to run at my top speed for 30-45 seconds. I told him if a tiger is chasing me I'd just curl up and let him eat me, there is no reason for me to expend any energy in outrunning him because it won't happen. Might as well get it over with.
QOTD: have you guys seen the movie Zombieland? It's hilarious; I'd go by their rules. If I remember correctly:
- cardio
- Double tap
- Careful in the bathrooms
- Travel light
- A bat doesn't need to be reloaded
- Moisturize
- And a bunch of other dumb funny rules, because if it's the end of the world might as well have fun.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Epic chicken, jerky, quest chips
- Crispy onion chips (did I need them? No! Did I eat them anyway? Yes)
- TJ chicken fajitas
- E: cardio + weight

Knowing what a chicken I am, my bonus nephews persuaded me to see a midnight showing of that at one of the cons. They sat behind me so they could watch me more than the movie, apparently my jumping and screaming and hiding my eyes was quite entertaining. I did actually like the humor in it!

Another beautiful day in the neighborhood. A new aide is helping me this morning. It's the first time in a month that help is available. I'm so excited.
Grateful for another day on Planet Earth.
QOTD- I usually succumb to peer pressure so sign me up for that Zombie revolution. I trained for decades to become a zombie and my hard work will finally pay off.

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.
