Sounds like you made huge headwinds on the garden. I wish you a great crop with no pests or critters. My property is full of blackberries proliferating everywhere. Last summer did seem to kill off at least half of them.

We were watching the final episode of Rabbit Hole. Some great plot twists.

Last week was my first vacation trip since before COVID. My friend and I went on a train ride through the Rocky Mountains in Colorado and Utah. We have been friends since first grade and kept in touch all these years, so so many memories to talk about. I have flown over the Rockies many times and always wanted to take time to actually ride through them. A glass-topped train is an ideal way to do that.

We had some days of bright sunshine and some days of rain and snow. The rocks and mountains are breathtaking and the service on the Rocky Mountaineer train was amazing. We were served gourmet meals and endless drinks. Story tellers along the way filled us in on local history. Some families come out everyday and wave at the train.

The train tracks follow the Colorado River and there are a lot of kayakers. The people on the train wave at the people in the kayaks. The kayakers have a tradition. They do not wave back. They bend over, and moon the train riders. We saw at least ten moons.

I was really tired when I got home Saturday night and rested most of Sunday. Yesterday I finished unpacking and did all the laundry but it was a struggle. Today I feel like my energy is back. It is going to be a beautiful day with sun and about 74 degrees, so I plan to do some cleaning on the patio.

I missed the whole zombies thing because it was on a cable channel that I did not have and at the time was not interested enough to watch it. I had a friend who had to be home at a certain time every week because she loved watching it. If it happens I will figure out how to deal with it then.
