What's on your Tuesday Menu, y'all?
Good Morning Grim and Menuers,
I think you did a fine job starting us off. Thanks for doing it.
I am so late because there is a bunch of stupid, I had to contend with here at work. Yeah me. Then I read yesterday's thread and realized I am out of touch with reality. I did not know that ringtones were a thing of the past and mine still rings the Price is Right theme song. I don't care I will not change it. I love the Price is Right. One more thing I got a Rudy dilemma. He is limping on his back right paw. (Same leg DH has a limp on) I can touch it, I can squeeze it with no reaction at all, but when he is in the house he limps. I take him out without DH he runs he walks he plays with other dogs with no limp at all. As soon as he sees DH he limps. Is this dog taking on Rons limp to console him? Dear lord I hope he does not take on my potty mouth to console me.

You made me snort my coffee with Rudy's shenanigans. He might be imitating Ron. But I don't think he will have your potty mouth.

Oh my gosh, Rudy wants to be like his poppa! Glad it's not a real injury.
my text tone is R2D2 and my ring tone is Happy by Pharrell, and my "you have a voicemail" tone is Livin on Prayer but none of that matters because at least 98% of the time my phone is on silent

My son's text tone is R2D2.
But like you the phone is mostly on silent.

mine is almost always on silent, too. I hate phones - the ringing is so disruptive. Plus if it's not muted I can hear all the notifications from texts, emails, and Facebook thingies. It drives me nuts. The only problem is, occasionally I'll forget to check it every few hours, and I'll miss something that needed to be responded to quickly. Whoops. At least that doesn't happen too often...

Love that Pharrell song. Long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, I was sitting at a traffic light on my way to work. It happened to be world happiness day and the radio popped on Pharrell. I proceeded to unabashedly bop around in my car to the song. Yes, I noticed there was a police officer behind me. Yes, I knew just about every police officer in the city at that time.
Later that day, they came to tell me I made their day, and the butt of many office jokes, with my personal celebration of happiness. I live to entertain, I guess!

This is totally a thing! There's some great videos of a dog limping down a sidewalk, and another limping down the stairs, in imitation of its owner. Its just marvelous.
There are others of cats who limp around outside to get sympathy and be let inside. As soon as they are in, the limping stops.

I have heard of dogs doing that, though rare. On the other hand, if he picks up your trick, that would make you a ton of cash!
