What's on your Tuesday Menu, y'all?

Dawn works wonders on so many things! When I had sleep studies and they gunked nodes on my head, Dawn is what stripped it right out, and yep, dry skin side effect. Hope your pup is all cleaned up!

Oh man, nothing worse than a skunked dog. I hear tomato juice will take the smell away but I have never tried it.

I've heard of using tomato juice and I'm so glad we didn't have to resort to that!

The tomato juice thing is just an old tale. I think the recommended "solution" is liquid soap, hydrogen peroxide, and baking soda. And a lot of time.

I have wriggled out of the chains Grim put me in for a few minutes.
Apparently pretending that I have no injury is not an effective way to heal. Yesterday I just ignored the crutches, didn't wrap it up, no ice, and didn't stay off my feet. Shockingly I ended up with extreme pain and swelling by the end of the day that made it impossible to be comfortable in any position. I finally fell asleep at about 4:30am.
It's going to be a long day, but luckily the new reclining couch was already delivered and it's very comfy. Today might be a good day for a binge watch of something fun to distract me from everything I want to do.
QOTD: Francis McDormand!
Truly no idea what I am eating today. I basically just ate balanced breaks all day yesterday but it wasn't satisfying and probably didn't give me the protein I needed to heal.

Oh my gosh, JB! You, me, and my mom would get along great when it comes to trying to walk it off with injuries. I hope you take care of your knee. Did you go to the doctor and make sure it isn't something more serious?
Enjoy your new furniture!

I'm terrible about not taking my own advice. Mostly because I am not good at procrastinating and it terrifies me to wait and do things at the last minute. If I know I have something to do, I just have to push through and do it and not let it hang over my head. It's KILLING me to sit still today.
I had an x-ray on Sunday to confirm that it's not broken, but I do need to go in for an MRI to check for anything torn.

Yep, hard! Glad you're making the attempt, though. My mom is on her second week in bed but it's spring planting season and she's seething. My SD is pretty much sitting on her at this point!
I hope your MRI shows nothing!
