Finally (Photo) Friday!! What's your plan?
Happy Friday to Everyone
Woke up around 2:30 and couldn't go back to sleep so ended up getting out of bed and ready for work around. Early start to the day, so I can leave from work early. I need to run to Costco for a few items, then home to put together my planters. I decided with heading to Montana to have my garden soil delivered next weekend instead of tomorrow since we have another event at 3pm (an historical estate tour with homemade Italian dinner to follow-super excited). The dermatology clinic where I get my Botox done is having their annual open house with reduced prices on services. I will stop by there to purchase some future Botox injections at a reduced price. Then finally yoga this afternoon. Oh yeah, more labs for the liver enzymes elevation workup. Looking at some other autoimmune diseases since all other labs have been negative to date.
QOTD: I am coming up blank but know I have made some mistakes where meals have turned out yuck.
Accountability: 2 extra pc sf chocolate, otherwise pretty good
Same meals
E: 60 minutes yoga

- G'morning all!
Anything math related made me cry. With kids I was the main homework helper when they needed any, until they hit high school. Then we had a division of labor: DH for math and sciences, me for all the humanities.
Jen, can't wait to see the pics of the full landscaping plans.
We have another gloomy day here and no particular plans for 5 de Mayo. If the weather cooperates on Sun we might go for a hike; the poppies are just beautiful. The trail is not that long, 7-8 miles, and the guide says some people use it as trail running. I made the mistake of suggesting, jokingly, that we could jog it. Well, DH has taken me seriously and I guess we are jogging it. I'll report back on Monday if I am still alive.
QOTD: one of the first times I made brownies, I skipped the sugar completely. I had never tasted such a bitter chocolate taste. The whole stash went into the trash.
Sample of poppies growing all over due to the rains we've been having.
My meals yesterday:
- I woke up hungry so Coffee + barebells bar
- Epic chicken and jerky
- Iced coffee w/PP

They are called California poppies, and the first thing I learned moving here was that it's illegal to pick them.

I hope you survive the jog - the scenery will be worth the effort, hopefully!
