Good morning everybody!
My son ended up mowing the lawn. I realized that I was treating him like a toddler and just asked him to do it. He did so with no problems. Of course I put gas in the mower for him and made sure that it would start. And checked that he wasn't wearing brand new shoes. Baby steps.
My older son finished his semester yesterday. Today is a reading day and they start finals Friday. He will be home for a few days next week and then he starts his summer classes. I am going out to visit him July 4th week and will get to go to a concert at Red Rocks and hopefully Rocky Mountain National Park..
Marilyn made it home at about 9:15 last night. It sounds like they had a great trip. She learned that after the dueling champagne brunch shopping day last December her friend snuck back to Gucci and bought both pairs of sneakers.
Today is one of my days in the office. I actually have an in person meeting, so I am not doing what Jen is doing (which is me most Tuesday's and Thursday's). Is it fair to question the competence of people who have spent the last three plus years proclaiming that "People are hungering for a return to in person work?"
QOTD: I have seen most of them. With a house full of kids we watched most of the original 6 several times. I think that I have seen most of the movie spin-offs and prequels. None of the TV series or the books. Jen, have you watched the Star Wars Christmas Special from the 70's? Supposedly it is one of the worst shows ever produced. I think that it is available on Youtube?
