What's on your Wednesday menu?

Good morning Jen and menuers,
Happy Wednesday. Glad to have made it to today.
QOTD- Maybe bunnies. They're all over out here and seem pretty friendly.
I'm walking laps around my living room right now and have been off and on all night. Guess it was one of the bad ones. I'm supposed to be working today but I can't sit down for long. I'll try to log back on in a bit and clear out some emails.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Good morning! This orchard /winery is very sweet. In many ways. Yesterday I was given samples of Cherry, blueberry and chocolate wines. Tiny sips. (Four dollar tasting. Hard to find that in CA). I had an amazing chicken salad lunch there and I cooked dinner in the rig. Rog bought a cookie the size of my face and I had two bites. Then while I was just in the shower, he went back and bought SIX more. Kill me now. Also a success yesterday was the trip to the Ford Presidential Museum. Very nicely done. Today we off headed to Joliet.
QoTD. I?m going with otters for sure. Calm and sweet and laying on their backs rubbing their food on their bellies. What?s not to live?
Foods today B. Leftover beef fajita meat and cottage cheese. Was so yummy!
L. On the road. Hopefully I go with the Turkey deli meat and cheese
D. Pork chop, asparagus and a small serving of mashed potatoes.
Peace Everybody.

Oh, otters would be fun too! I have to ask, do you have friends/family in Joliet? If not, what is there interesting to visit. It's not a place I think of as one that people go to on purpose, lol

It's a good stopping point for a few days of rest. At a casino, so there's a little gambling, a few restaurant choices and pretty near a certain someone who should be mowing his lawn today. I've been advised about a cool museum and we'll do day trips out and about. The plan is to get somewhere with hook ups and just relax for the week. We've been on the move so much we haven't gotten the bbq out of the cubby once! Hoping the weather continues to warm up. Big plans this coming weekend.

Ahhh, that makes sense! I can see it as a place with not a lot of active distractions

I forgot to tell you - if you're still in Michigan, order one of those Michigan salads! My mother and I had one every day when we were there a few years ago! (they don't call them "Michigan salads" there (people from outside Michigan call them that) - but the salad is on practically every restaurant's menu. It's lettuce topped with fruit (fruit can differ - but it always has cherries), walnuts or pecans, either feta or blue cheese, and a cherry vinaigrette. Fabulous!
Cherry wine? Count me in. I been baking Crumbl cookies for my party and I can see how having 6 giant cookies in the rig could be a danger zone. Good luck navigation that.
