I should do that. His brother has mowed for years.

I think I was 7 when I inherited the lawn mowing from my father. He never mowed a law again, for as long as he lived.

My Dad told my brothers the only reason he had kids was so he wouldn't have to mow the lawn. We still laugh about it.

And changing the channel, back when you had to walk across the room to do that!

Oh my God! My dad didn't even talk! He just made a twisting motion with his hand, and whoever was closest had to change the channel.

We were all ECSTATIC to chip in and buy him a TV with remote control when we were old enough.

I just noticed you have roast beef. That's what I'll have for lunch. Simple and easy. With pickles.

I have confidence your son could do it! There are a lot of teens that do that around here for $ (not as many as offer to shovel though)

Back when I was young, there were herds of us who wandered the neighborhood, ringing doorbells and looking for shoveling jobs. At some point that stopped. It must have been at least 20 years that you couldn't get a kid to shovel for any amount of money. But for the last several years they seem to be out hustling again.

My subdivision is full of little hustlers. They will pull weeds, shovel snow, walk your dog, de poop your yard, they are all about the gig economy, lol. My favorite though is the girls who will hide your kids Easter eggs for you!
