What's on your Wednesday menu?

Woo-hoo -- it's already Wednesday! We are crushing this week!! Good job everyone!

I do not have anything planned after work...it's amazing and I'm excited about that! I'm sure I will come up with lots of things to do but it's nice to have an open evening.

The ifit challenge for this month is weird, as far as I can tell it's two workouts a week versus just giving them all to you so you can do them at your own pace over the month. I'm going to do it but I'm not happy about it. I'll do the first one this morning and I have the other scheduled for Friday.

QOTD - If animals could talk, who do you think would be the second friendliest? Clearly the answer for friendliest would be most dogs, lol. I think the second friendliest would be the little geckos. They really seem to like to sneak around and watch humans. Cats would be the ones at the back of the room, commenting about everything and everyone.

Today's menu for me

Skyr

prima donna cheese and salami

left over chicken green chili

Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone!

Good Morning! What the hell, Ohio? Why the freezing cold temps and unending rain? We had a nice little adventure in Amish-land yesterday but the rain was awful the whole time which literally and figuratively dampened our adventure. But it was a nice day, nonetheless.

Today Grim and I go our own ways. I will be able to explore cookie stuff and he's off to a game in Toledo. We'll reconnect for dinner, then I have the Keynote address tonight. Tomorrow is when the classes start for real.

QOTD: I hope capybaras are as friendly and cute as I have always imaged them to be!

Food yesterday: leftover burger for breakfast, a little bit of a chef's salad, popcorn, a little bit of buffalo cauliflower

Don't let the rain get you down! I would always prefer a rainy vacation day to a sunny work day! Enjoy the first official day of cookie con!

sun and warmth are on the way! Ohio gets the weather about a day after we do, and it'll be sunny today and 60. Starting tomorrow, though, the rain starts up again - but the warmer weather will stay - it'll be even warmer tomorrow! (boo for rain, though...). So it should be much warmer and sunny in Ohio tomorrow - and then rain returning for you on Friday (but fortunately, not the cold!) I'm not sure what to make of the cold the last few days, though - not at all common.

Look at you nailing the Menu on vacation. Great Job.

I'm not sure I'm nailing it--lots more calories than I should have but I'm trying to make decent enough choices!

Good morning, everybody!

I don't really get Cat & Cow. It seems to me like cats do both the hollow and arched back things and cows do neither. When cats are on top of fences meowing in the middle of the night, they are always shown with arched backs, and when they are hunting rodents, they have hollow backs. Cows, on the other hand just are. I've never drove past a field of Heiffers and said "look at the T-spine mobility on that bovine!"

Marilyn gets home at about 8:30 tonight. I think that she will get a ride to a friends and I will just need to pick her up from there. Much easier than going to the airport, but it will be another no drinking happy hour. It's been a bit - 5 weeks off for Whole 30, then one on, then two off while I was sick and tonight off again.

Other than that, I would like to mow the lawn so that it will be done before Marilyn gets home and clean up a little. I don't know why I don't just ask my 19 year old to mow the lawn since he is home, he should be old enough to do it safely. Also, I need to go lift this morning and work is pretty busy today. All in all a typical Wednesday.

QOTD: Dolphins. Kind of the dogs of the sea, I think. What we know for sure is that Alpaca's are out of the running.

Breakfast: Protein bar

Lunch: Roast Beef

Dinner: Chili

have a great day, all!

So, why don't you ask you son to mow the lawn? Just curious.

Because I'm afraid he will injure himself.

OK. Can you show him how not to do it? You know he probably would have a house one day.
