Happy Tuesday, What's on your menu, everyone?

I've read about that! I do remember when times were different here but not so far back when you could smoke on planes. Those no smoking signs have existed as long as I can remember. Our house used to be partly furnished by things from a Marlboro catalog.

I dunno...you do a LOT of awesome things for community and volunteering when you're not crocheting amazing animals. I'd definitely fall for it. :)

Just turning on and off smoking like that seems remarkable. I've never smoked, not once, just because I could stand being near it. Kinda like hummus, salad, or compassionate conservatism.
Is it still allowed to smoke everywhere in Italy?

The main reason I don't smoke here is because DH can't stand the smell. But I have a deal with him that when in Italy I'm a free woman.
In Italy, just in the last 5-8 yrs they passed the law of no smoking in the restaurants and cafes. I would say 75% of Italians smoke so you see everybody on the streets lighting up.

I love love love the no smoking in restaurants and bars here in the US. My mom was a smoker. I can remember being car sick because she would smoke in the car. I can't stand the smell of cigarette smoke. Yuck. Sorry to you smokers.

Good thing we don't know each other IRL. Because if somebody came at me what that attitude I would smoke around them just to annoy the F out of them.

I am sorry but what attitude? I would never approach someone and tell them to put out their cigarette because the smoke bothered me. I would move away from them since I don't like the smell. I wasn't giving attitude but rather just saying that I am happy not be having to sit in a restaurant trying to eat food without smelling smoke. Jeez...
