Good morning.

May 1st is a "labour's day" holiday in Poland. It used to be a very communists type holiday but it's still celebrated because people get a statutory holiday- a day off.

Qotd: I am looking forward to my herbal/natural therapy type conference in the first weekend in June. It's expensive, but I get energetically recharged whe. J go there. Plus learning new stuff about herbs, supplements, therapies... it's exciting.

I ate badly over the weekend and my body is detoxing. Overheating and sweating... carbs do that to me. Ugh.

Menu: staying clean from carbs/sugars.

Coffee, tea, water...lots of water...

L: chicken? Or frittata

D: the other..

May 1 as labor day began here. But when it came time to make it an official national holiday, they didn't want it to be a socialist day, so they moved it to September.

Sometime in the 1950's we quit having May Day celebrations because that was a communist holiday.

I think most countries that celebrate Labor Day celebrate it on May 1. The US is the only weird one...
