What's on your Wednesday Menu?
I took a peek at the website. Holy smokes some of those cookies are a work of art. They have an event called the Sugar Show! I also saw the breakout sessions that look like something you would also enjoy. Lots to choose from. You should have a blast there.

I can't decide if I should enter the sugar show. I think I am too shy but I am looking forward to seeing everyone's entries!

You would be amazing! I bet if you don't do it this time, you'll see all the competition you could trounce and then next year you will do it. You are so skilled and talented

She is soooo competitive. If she did enter, she'd be going all Brienne of Tarth on some cookie person in the lobby. Except, you know, shorter.

There's going to be me and one other guy sitting outside the convention hall, holding purses.

I can absolutely imagine conversations about which decorations both look and taste goof! All of the baking shows I watch talk about how non-tasty fondant and modeling chocolate are. That balance is an art itself!

Shelia, you have to come and visit with me sometime. I live close to Youngstown, Ohio which considers itself the cookie table capital of the world. Pittsburgh is just as cookie table crazy as Teenie can tell you.
We have cookie tables for every occasion. Birthdays, showers, graduations, weddings, funerals, and picnics. Rooms lined with tables and tables of cookies. The tradition, I believe, was born during the depression and just general poverty where people did not have much but at least could make a plate of cookies to share.
