Hope you enjoy the movie. A friend of mine saw it and liked it but he's also a tabletop gamer.
Hope you get the thundersnow!

Mornin' All!
one of my film discussion groups meets this morning, and I have class this afternoon - last day of lecture - YAY! Next Monday she's giving us the day off so the students can work on their group projects, and Wednesday they're presenting the group projects (which I may or may not go to) - then - it's OVER!! (I like my classes, but I want my life back again!!). Also, I want to finish deciding on a travel insurance policy today since a couple of them only give you 15 days to buy if you want the "pre-existing conditions" clause (which I do). Fortunately, it's 21 days for most of them - but I still want to decide quickly in case I want one of the 15-day ones. The problem I'm having is that when I find one that looks really good, I'll check reviews only to find a bunch of really negative ones. Although I know it's probably because people are more likely to post reviews when they're mad about something (like...their claim was denied), and I'm guessing a lot of them either didn't have the appropriate documentation, or whatever their reason was for filing a claim wasn't covered by the policy. But still...scary. I'm hoping I can figure out which ones are actually pretty reliable at paying claims, in spite of a few negative reviews...
QOTD: I may have to circle back to this. My brain hasn't kicked in yet.
B: skyr with fruit compote and a tablespoon of muesli. Coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: chickpea spread on 35-calorie bread with cucumber and tomato slices, kale salad
AS: Ratio yogurt and maybe a skinny bagel with light cream cheese
D: not sure. Maybe a veggie burger
ex: it should actually be a perfect afternoon for biking, so if I manage to get through this travel insurance stuff, I'll bike over to class.
have a great day, everyone!
I would love if you can keep us (Me ) updated...I booking trip to Poland and it would be great to have that.

The end of your classes is within sight! Glad you're almost done and able to get that weight off your shoulders.

G'morning all!
QJB - I am so jealous of the cookiecon! I've never been to one but I picture it like a huge convention center filled with cookies at each table. That right there is my version of heaven. I wonder if in this post Covid era they'd let you taste everything. I would be a total Cookie Monster, dumping be damned.
My MIL's house got finally rented again. What a process. Yesterday the new tenants signed the lease and will move in May 1st. The prev tenants left in Nov and it took us a long time to get our act together, fix the house, advertise it and interview a slew of prospects. But it is done and I am so glad I don't have to schedule any more showings or do interviews. I was not born to be a realtor.
QOTD: the first name that came to my mind, and QJB I am dedicating that to you, is "Nacho Boat"! If I had a yacht I'd call it "the Flying Dutchman"....it's one of my absolute favorite operas. I was in high school when for a summer I volunteered at the Festival of 2 Worlds held in Spoleto every year. It's a music and opera festival. I ended up seeing the Flying Dutchman every night for almost two weeks, having been assigned as an usher to that theatre.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Kebabs + Fage yogurt
- Protein pudding, jello, jerkies
- Egg roll in a bowl + quest chips
- E: cardio + weight
Happy hump day!

See, I've been picturing a different CookieCon. I'm imagining something more like a Star Trek convention, but with cookie people.

Don't ruin my heaven. I picture table after table of cookies where I can sample them all.
The Comic-Con is based on characters, so of course you see people walking around in costumes. I have a hard time picturing somebody walking around dressed as a choc chips cookie. I can picture them walking around with a tray full of choc chip cookies.

When my BFF had her bakery, I persuaded her to specialize in custom treats for the Denver and COS comic cons. It was the best! I would help work those booths and I had so much fun. I will see if I can find some pictures.
