What's on your Monday Menu?

BTW: I used my pantry foods now to give it to people in need. Some emergencies items like pasta, rice, dry beans, canned meat and veggies, canned fish.

G'morning all!
Hope y'all had a great weekend. QJB, sorry about the bad review but shake it off, haters gonna hate hate! See what I did there?
My weekend was uneventful and relaxing. DH was out of town visiting DS so I had the house to myself with no big plans. DH is always good when he is with one of the kids, he constantly sends pics to make me feel included. So I got a ton of pics of them. I switched my closets from winter to summer. I remember the first time I did it DH was like why? We live in CA, you just need to not wear a sweatshirt for the summer. But I have too many clothes to keep them all year around. Hence the back and forth until I summer-ized my closet. Still gotta work on the shoes.
QOTD: after reading the YA science fiction "Life as we knew it" I make sure I have a ton of canned vegetables. I seriously scan the store everytime I go in, that book had a sobering effect on me.
QOTD2: maybe the series of life as we knew it (4 books) is a good series to listen to. It's science fiction because it's the end of world, but other than that it shows the resilience of people in a difficult situation. I read them when DD was a freshman in high school.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Kebabs + Fage yogurt
- Jello, protein pudding, more Fage yogurt
- Cottage cheese with egg snd EBB (somebody recommended this to me so I figured I try it)
- E: cardio + weight
Happy Monday!

I'm guessing Julia wouldn't like that, but I'll add it to my own list if she doesn't.

Oh I like GORY...it's Grim who doesn't;t like that! I just don't like Sci-fi, lol.
The only sci-fi part is the beginning when something happens to earth, the rest is very low tech because everything goes offline.
They advertise it as YA book because the main character is a teenage girl.

QJB-I have a hard time believing that you could get a bad review. It is impossible to make everyone happy but if the review offered any constructive feedback it could be useful. It is awful how we can receive 10 positive comments but the 1 negative comment is the one that nags at our brain. I hope your day goes well and your frown turned into a happy smile.
I had a nice weekend. I was able to blow out the beds in the yard with most of the leaves being picked up. Then DH comes home and tells me he wants to trim bushes next weekend so we will need to do the job again. Not so interested plus I want to work on my garden. Moving the raspberry bushes to their own containers. I want to move my strawberries and grape vines so they get more sun. I need to add dirt to my gardens then plan my planting plus plant. Lots to do. It looks like the weather is finally going to start warming up after today.
yesteray I did the chunky blanket event with my friend. It was fun. I will post pictures on Friday. It is basically using your hands to knit a blanket using a super thick and fluffy yarn. Super easy to do. I bought a couple of extra skeins of yarn to make mine larger than the original dimensions. I actually didn't have enough time to fini**** so that is on my to do list for the day.
today will be laundry, finishing my blanket, workout. I also have a Echos Nursing event. The is where nurses tell a story that has been significant to their nursing career. It is suppose to be inspiring.
QOTD: Karen Slaughter has some DD Warren series that I have enjoyed. You don't have to listen in order to appreciate the books. They are longer (11-12 hours). I also just finished Spare. The Prince Harry story. It is a really iBook so if you want some variety I recommend that one.
