Good morning and yay for Friday! I am ready for this week to be over and a good weekend to begin. I have a dentist appt this afternoon and a haircut/color on Sunday; need to finish my bookclub book for Tuesday but not a lot going on this weekend otherwise. Saturday is supposed to be cold and blustery (in a place where the wind blows all the time, it's been out of control lately!) so good day to catch up on reading and house stuff.

QOTD - the bathtub, definitely the bathtub.

Do you ever sleep really hard but really short and then wake up incredibly disoriented? I went to bed early yesterday with a headache, woke up after about an hour and thought I had slept all the way through Friday, lol. After I few seconds, everything clicked back on and I realized I had not missed a day but I hate that feeling.

I didn't have any new pictures on my phone this week so here are two old ones that I am quite fond of. Have a great Friday and weekend all!

I used to work 2 jobs, and only had 1-3 hours off in between. I slept hard, passing out within a minute of my head hitting the pillow. I had to put an alarm clock across the room to force me to get up and shut it off. I would often find myself standing there, holding the clock, not really aware of where I was, or what I was doing. It's a horrible feeling. One of the nicest feelings there can be is just serenely drifting off to sleep, or drifting slowly awake. It's so peaceful, and years later I still appreciate the difference.

I remember those times. Days when I only had to go to one job were almost like having the day off. I worked 5-2 at Kroger and then 3-10 or 11 across town at IHOP. Brr.

Yes, I'm so happy that 90% of the time I wake up without my alarm. It never fails to scare me awake, lol

That's the disorienting kind of sleep for sure. Hopefully you were able to get more than an hour and resolved your headache.

Hadrian's wall! We visited a section there the same day we saw the tree from Robin Hood. I was so stoked! And sheep obstructions are the best way to experience traffic jams. As long as you don't have somewhere to be!

Enjoy the time in the salon chair. I slept weird last night too. I must have been sleeping light since every little noise woke me up and then I usually don't even need my alarm (vibration on my Apple Watch) but today that didn't even wake me up for several minutes. Let's crush this Friday!
