Carrots get stuck for me also, but not the same as meat - they just shut me down from eating but aren't as painful as meat getting stuck. I've been known to eat carrots just to stop eating on those days where I'm a bottomless pit.

Ha ha! I just wrote that as well - before I saw your message! Yep - same - they irritate my stomach, which often stops a binge in its tracks...

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one having issues with raw carrots.

If I have meat stuck - if can go either way- up or down. Carrots - I always had to work to bring them up...

I sometimes eat baby carrots when I feel a binge coming on, because they tend to irritate my stomach. Not a pleasant feeling, but on the other hand, the last thing I want to do is eat when I feel like that!

I would be Ok if they just irritate it. But once I have enough (3-4 small ones) they get stuck and no matter what- I used to have to bring them up. Now -I can have 2 raw baby carrots... But my body doesn't allow me to eat any more...

My first bite of food after surgery Came back up. I scrambled eggs in the Microwave, and it did not go well. If it was dumping, I am not sure, but I think it just got stuck since it came along with the foamies. Took over 2 years till I could eat scrambled eggs. I was able to eat them poached and hard boiled but not scrambled. Goes to show you never can tell. I thought at one time someone mention that dumping and RH are the same thing is this true?

Not to me! I have gotten RH but not dumped, that's usually if too many carbs at one time. I do end up with RH eveytime I dump though, a few hours later. I do think someone said that one was just early dumping and one was late dumping -- but the experience is very different for me. I wish I was smart enough to just avoid both forever!

I don't dump but I do get RH. It was me who mentioned my NUT said they were both considered dumping - our bodies reaction to sugar. One is immediate, the other more delayed but both caused by sugar. I still think of them as different though.

I've heard RH called "late dumping", but that and regular dumping are different...(regular dumping is when you eat too much sugar at one sitting and your small intestine goes into overdrive trying to deal with it. RH is when your blood sugar crashes an hour or two after you eat too much sugar)
