Thank you for sharing! I did see this site and it looks like there are several options, depending in the time that can be given. I'm glad to see the possibilities. Uber looks to be about $70 during cheap times, too.

it's still very early out and airfares could come down a bit between now and then - although regional airports are almost never cheaper to fly into than a hub like LAX would be...

Listen I know you have special needs with your diet, and I am not judging. I just want to know why you eat seaweed. I have never seen it on any other menu. Does it have a boatload of protein I am missing?

Heh, you're right, I do like being more vegetarian when there's a choice!

Seaweed has 10x the mineral content of land-based vegetables and is high in iodine, vitamin K, omega 3's, iron and a few more. It is technically a good source of protein by weight but I only eat a snack-sized portion.

I started eating it years ago for variety and the umame flavor. Plus it was a low calorie item i could plug into menu planning when counting calories. I keep eating it because of the nutrient content and I can count it as a dark leafy vegetable.

It's tasty to me, though an acquired one, maybe. The roasted ones I buy are 1,000 times better than the raw seaweed we got to try at the seahorse place in Hawaii!

I've eaten it - it's used a lot in Japanese cooking. I think it's supposed to be very nutritious.

Good morning all.

I need to stop watching the news. It just makes me angry. I don't like being angry, and I'm starting to think that the people in the tv aren't even listening to me.

Shhhh. Don't tell JB what plans we have tonight.

QOTD: Hmmmm. My memoir might be titled "What?" Or maybe "Huh?" I like asking questions.

I have trouble keeping my attention on anything at all...I often have to have my mom repeat what she said when she's sitting right beside me. Huh? would be a great one for me too lol

I do no****ch the news, I like to listen to AM sports radio from Montreal, it is amazing how much attention the US news attracts. I also like to take a peak online at BBC News and CBC news to get an idea of what the world is saying.
