Totally with you on this. I always watch how the people in my life treat other people, especially when they're in positions of power. Everyone should have this experience in their lives!

me neither. I'm glad I did it, though, since it helped convince me that I don't have whatever it takes to be a parent. Namely, patience.

I am soooo not a kid person allll the time. I've watched only a few kids before. It stressed me out lol. Affirmed my decision to not have my own.

Good mornin everyone.

I've got a somewhat busy day ahead. Appointment at 10:30 with my psychologist. She is leaving Texas Tech so I'll be without a psychologist/counselor. It was a little disheartening to learn. I'm very comfortable with her and I'm not sure I have it in me to get invested in finding a new one. We'll see. I'm also going to try and get a laptop today. It's not the one I really would want if money wasn't an option LOL but it'll do what I need it to do. I am thinking of trying to sell my Nikon DSLR that I found at the thrift store. I can't afford to get a decent lens for it for macro work. We'll see on that one too. I want to keep it in a way but all my nice lenses are canon. Wish I could just trade my Nikon body for a canon body! Why doesn't the work work exactly the way we think it should? Ha! I just want what I want when I want it...I can dream eh?

I have to text the pain clinic and tell them I am still the same with my troubles urinating. I don't feel the need to go all the time but when I do need to go it's hard to go. My legs are also in a bad way.

I'm starting to be in a somewhat better place mentally. Thankful for that.

QOTD: I worked at a local very small amusement park one summer and then at a movie theater for almost a year.

B: cereal because I'm to lazy to cook

L: shrimp egg roll

D: ???

L: sharp cheddar, homemade granola bar thingy.

Glad you're seeing a bit of improvement mentally. That's no small thing. And good luck with your medical discussions today!

I'm on team Nikon. Least, I was until I sold off all my photography equipment!

I'm team what I have. LOL. I just happened to get a canon first. If I could afford the nikor lenses I would be all over it. Shoot I can't even afford the alternative brands. It's a super nice camera but I'm trying to be realistic. I'll probably end up keeping it for landscapes. I love gadgets to to much.

Good morning everyone and happy Tuesday!

Got up early, had some coffee, played the brain games, got my rowing in. Today was a killer 3 part race between two olympians, 750M then 500M then 250M plus warm ups, cool downs and in between race recovery...I did that then a couple of manual laps to get my 5K in and then I really needed a shower, lol. My training starts in about half and hour so post here, make a cup of coffee and get my water ready for the office. Had to reschedule with my trainer so I plan on doing a weights session after work.

I started reading a fun, trashy book last night called The Golden Spoon -- it's a locked room mystery set in a bakeoff tent and it doesn't take much brain power but I am enjoying it.

QOTD - yep, I started working in the cafeteria at school when I was in 7th grade to get lunch which I kept all through jr high and sr high and then when I turned 13, I started cleaning bathrooms at the local bar/cafe before school, once I was old enough to officially work I was a dishwasher, for a year, worked at Taco Bell for a year, and waited tables my last two years of high school. I also did the usual teen stuff baby sitting, helping old folks with errands, etc.

menu today

coffee plus FLP X 3

skry

deli ham and cheddar

omlette or the left over burger I didn't eat yesterday

Have a terrific Tuesday everyone!
