Aren't disposals self-cleaning? I've never run ice or anything else through it.

My cousin is a plumber and he said run ice through it periodically, it keeps it clean, it keeps it spinning and prevents problems. He's the professional and it's easy so I do it.

Super easy is a good enough reason to just do it.

I just put in a new disposal a month or so ago. It's super quiet. I accidentally let it run for about 10 minutes one day because it was so quiet.

Love the dogs.

I'm sorry you are in so much pain. Hugs.

I had a few really bad days this week, but getting a massage and a chiropractor adjustment 2 days in a row really helped. It was raining yesterday so that didn't help either. But it feels like today I'm doing much better.

QOTD: cold cuts, meats, NSA jerky/meat sticks, cheese, cheese crisps, HBegggs, eggs pudding, collagen drink,

On the other hand, my gut is really letting me have it. Yesterday was ok, then I ate, and 2 hrs later the pain started. Not sure if my food was too old, or whatever else - by the time late evening came, I could only gasp for air, as I was sticking my fists into my gut. I hate that pain. I was working late (since I skipped Thursday) so when the pain hit, I couldn't even imagine to get into a car andv drive home. So I spent the night I the office filling sorry for myself (we have a bedroom like area set up there). I knew I couldn't drive with gut spasms like that. I did that a few times in the past, and I don't recommend it, trying to drive when you bend in half is very uncomfortable. And dangerous.

Keith knows that when I work late (10+pm) and if I start feeling really tired, or feeling sick, I would crash for the night there. He rather I stay safe, than risk getting home by myself when im not at my best. He always tell me that he could pick me up and bring me home, but I never take his offer. Knowing he would come over to my work at anytime of any day to take care of me is priceless. But I hate seeing him worry about me as I gasp for air due to gut pain.

Anyway...I'm really scared to eat today. Like, really scared. So ...today I'm going to have a full fasting day, while drinking lots of non or very low calories liquids. My poor gut deserves a break.

So "eat" is simple - liquids...

Accountability yesterday: I ate to much cheese... ugh..

I'm so sorry, Hala. What you deal with sounds terrible. I'm glad you're able to stay at work when needed. Your partner sure sounds like a keeper.

Hope you got a respite being on liquids yesterday.

Good evening Menu Friends

I woke up early this morning. 3:50am and couldn't fall back to sleep. I got up and was productive getting laundry done, throwing a turkey breast into the slow cooker, making protein frosty then off to inferno Pilates at 7am. I got my new tires today. Unfortunately, I had the time wrong by an hour. Luckily, I was an hour early and not late. While I waited for the tires to be installed, I did my Costco shopping (this is where I purchased my new tires).

My kids' concert was good last evening. It has been a while since the band has played together, they have only practiced once since their last performance (several months ago). They did sound pretty good despite the long time in between.

QOTD: I like my protein frostys. I will prepare 4-6 at a time to put in the freezer. With the premiere or Fairlife protein and sf pudding mix the calories land around 190 with 30 grams of protein. Another option is beef jerky. Clear whey protein that can be added to water. The ones we have is 90 calories with 20 grams of protein. It is pretty tasty also.

Meals are TBD since it is a free day of eating.

E: 60 min pilates.

BTW that dog does look like Snoopy. Very cute.
