Good morning all. I hope you all soon realize you're being indoctrinated by the coffee companies. Throw off your shackles! Don't become part of the Dunkin army!

I got a new Fitbit yesterday. I've been using the Fitbit One, the sort you can wear in a clip, or your pocket. But the battery isn't holding much of a charge, and I've had only 2 of these for over ten years. This one is the Charge 5, which is a watch, but you can pop the straps off and wear it in a clip. I'll wear this on my wrist for a bit, and see how I like it.

I guess part of my QOTD is not this. I've got almost 11 years of stats on Fitbit, so I opted to stay with them to make it easier to track my tracking. When I ignore the numbers, stats, and facts, I don't do nearly as well. Tracking food, weight, and activity helps me a lot.

QOTD I'm not sure I have favorite off-brand. For things like shoes I can easily find only a couple of brands that fit. I tried a lot of brands of sausages, and one is clearly better than another. I'd prefer to buy less expensive versions when I can. But sometimes it doesn't work out.

I've got a Charge 4 and will keep it until it starts dying, but I'm really intrigued by the Charge 5s. Although they'll still be around when the time comes - or they may even be up to Charge 6 by then...

I don't upgrade until something dies. It's usually at least a few generations in between. I've never been a serial upgrader.

Bonus points if that means one of the pop-out lighters that's still functional!

I have a pop out lighter in my car. I haven't used it but the cigarette adapter works like a charm charging my electronics.

My first car was a 1986 Ford Thunderbird and I used its cigarette charger the same way. Also to run a CD adapter back in the day. Ah, memories!
