Good morning all and Happy Monday,
Hope everyone had a good Easter. I love Passover since this holiday is all about me as the first born. I kid but I like to remind my siblings every year.
Weekend had it's ups and downs. I actually am catching up on sleep. I'm in the process of switching sleep medications and Trazadone has been effective.
QOTD- Opportunity was the best thing about where I was raised. I had a quality education and am so grateful. My parents really provided good framework for becoming adults.
Accountability- I ate a bag of caramel corn, which was 4 servings or 500 cals. Oof. I actually am not beating myself up. I didn't eat a carton of Ben and Jerry's. I had a little heartbreak and didn't indulge the worst behaviors the ran through my mind.

Good morning. In Boston today. Had a great day yesterday traveling over and getting set up at the hotel. Then we took the girls on the Duck Tour. Found a local place for dinner that was both reasonably priced and pretty yummy. I had a meatball in Sunday Gravy.
Today is the Ducklings and then the Freedom Trail. We should be worn out to tonight. Food is going to be an audible the whole day.
QoTD: I grew up in so many places and in so many homes I can't say there was a best thing. But like Jen, I think it adds to my ability to flex with the situation. So it wasn't all bad.
Peace Everybody.

Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,
Sounds like you had a nice holiday. Good for you. Good luck getting done everything you need to do today.
My weekend was nice. I did have some wine Friday and went to Casino and played 3 card poker after I helped Ron spread 30 bags of mulch. It was not as bad as I thought it would be. I just have a little bit of knee pain but seems like it is subsiding. Saturday, I had my immediate family for Ham and Kielbasa and Sunday they came back plus the twins came for Easter dinner as well. They are not fond of Rudy. I don't know why he did nothing to make them scared. I think a few more visits and the fear will be over.
Today is back to work and catching up since we were closed Friday. Ron and my brother both need haircuts but i think that can wait till tomorrow.
QOTD: We lived on a huge hill. Most of you would call it a mountain if you saw it. There were tons of kids and we played outside all the time. Never a dull moment. I remember a neighbor boy put a frog in the mailbox. You know the big blue ones they still have today. When the mailman came to get the mail, we all hid behind the bushes and yelled "seen any wildlife lately" Our poor mailman was tortured. His name was Buddy Cook. Every day it was an adventure for him. I was like 4 of 5 and when he would come all us girls all under the age of 10 would sing to him. Hidden in the bushes of course. Hey mister mailman how do you do? Isn't that sack kind of heavy for you? Is it heavy or is it light? Tell me mister Mailman tell me tonight. Also, I never remember fighting with anybody everyone got along.

Love that story. We used to slide down the hill on my grandfather's land on a big piece of cardboard or roll down it inside the inner tube of a giant tractor tire. These days, those activities probably wouldn't be looked on approvingly due to the potential for um...injury.
