Sheila, if you picture the most difficult aspects of dealing with your engineer husband and young adult son, and combine them, that is what this registration process is like.

LOL. I know DH grew up very unsupervised; both parents were English teachers and his dad was actually against him studying computer science. Wouldn't you know both brothers ended up studying sciences while the parents were in humanities. On the other hand we encouraging DS in sciences because he has a knack for it and it comes natural for him backfired. The idea of DS becoming like his dad somehow is appalling to him. In short, the pendulum keeps swinging back and forth and each generation doesn't wanna do what their parents did.

mine didn't either. Particularly odd since my father was a professor, and my mother was a teacher. I don't think my dad ever knew what my first master's was in.

Good morning ~ That meme made me laugh and it's true. Time is flying and as for this week I wouldn't mind it going a bit faster so lets get over this hump! Work is going well, getting way ahead so I don't have to worry while I'm gone. I just remembered one of my bosses is going out of the country while I'm out so I will need to be available from home during my second week post op. It is what it is, not a big deal really.

QOTD - I do. Short term - I look at numbers all day long and can transfer 10+ digit numbers at a glance and if there is a pattern it's even easier. Spreadsheets for life, yo'. Long term - address numbers and childhood phone numbers absolutely. But, ask me what my husband or sons cell number is and I have to look it up.

Accountability - great but food is haunting me. I'd kill for some eggs right now.

5 more sleeps until the day

b- coffee, FLP

l - FLP

d- chicken and broccoli

s - L&F yogurt, light string cheese, cucumber

Have a wonderful day

I have not felt a lot of cravings, but the other night I had a dream that I was eating a huge Hershey bar at the sales counter while buying an even larger one and every time that I leaned over pieces of the first candy fell and I was scrambling to pick them up.
