If you get the results for clotting and they are really low - maybe you can ask them if you can restart the hormones sooner than 4 weeks after a surgery?

I was thinking the same thing - I really want my hormones! I had barely started them and still cannot believe what a difference they made. I have a call into the doc office, just waiting to hear back.

Part 2 - My doctor called. She said the level is still low and slow (I have none of the regular symptoms). She said this is common and she sees this a few times a month. She said it means that my surgery could be 'squishier' than usual but is not a problem. I am okay with that. I asked about resuming HRT and she laughed and said sorry - no. This could be caused by an inflammatory disease and the HRT would put me at even higher risk for clots post surgery.

Bummer. Will you be able to resume HRT after recovery from surgery? I do know that HRT can cause blood clots.

Knowing that - Think about Vitamin K. Specially K2 - is essential for bone health. Very essential.

Amy's also does the great frozen food line. And soups. But seriously, hope your test comes back okay and your day improved. You're in the home stretch!

QOTD- I'd go with classic, but I have a hard time even naming my cats. I was named after my great grandmother Julia Anne and there are a ton of us Smiths out there. When I was a kid Julia was not a popular name. My Mom watched Carousel when she was pregnant with me and loved the name Julie, I hate it I always prefer Julia.

My weight is on the way back down, I've cut out the wine and that is probably one of the reasons. I have a sinus infection, just got my antibiotics so hopefully I can kick this in no time. I've had a headache for over a week and it got much worse, so I finally realized that it was a sinus infection. I didn't even have to go into the office I did a virtual visit and then picked up my prescription. Since no more masks they don't want anyone with a possible respiratory issue in the waiting room.

I have work so I'd better get to it.

Have a great day everyone!

Hope you feel better soon. I think I am finally on my way out of this respiratory thing. Hope yours goes much more quickly than mine.
