Good luck on making a decision to explore other opportunities.

Morning gang. It's supposed to be another warm day here, which is nice. Still no buds on trees, but more flowers are poking up.

QOTD: I can think of a ton of things I could talk about for 30 minutes. But I can't think of one that anyone wants to listen to for even half that.

Day 2 of AHAW! From the starting size on this boneless spiral cut ham, I think it's only going to last for 5 days, maybe. So do I quit after that, or open another one and go for 10 . . .

Oh please, you are fascinating. Tell me another story about Winston Churchill! Or ham!

Oh, now you're going to get a story about Clementine Churchill and ham. Not the story about the salt cured ham, this is about the smoke cured.

I'm imagining your house with a walk-in refrigerator in which to store prodigious amounts of ham, sausage, and beef for later.

With the AC on in the summer, you could hang meat in my living room.

When I was a kid, we used to out leftovers out on the porch to keep in the winter. It was a valid strategy in the 80's and would stay frozen solid for months. That's some scary AC you have, there.

Very good point that I need to always keep in mind: I can talk but are they interested?

Good morning. We are in the driveway of a friend?s house in Atlanta and Rog is off to play golf. It?s across the street from our location so us girls are going to take baby Vanceypants later on and walk the course to visit them. That at least will be some exercise. Which I need because last night was one of those nights where everything was worth trying on the table so I did. And I have zero regrets. My friend is managing partner/part owner and the restaurant is literally on the other side of her back fence. Her commute is a 90 second walk. How awesome is that.

Today we only need to drive about 15 minutes and are spending the night at a craft beer place. I need groceries at some point but that?s all the day is bringing other than more fun time with our friends.

QoTD: Does anyone want to hear about vendor managed inventory? Consumable supplies? Threading machines? How about the steel used for Proto tools versus their Mexico plant Urrea? Yeah, I didn?t think so.

Food is a total unknown today. I?m going to do the best I can.

Peace Everybody

Sounds like a magnificent day! At least in Atlanta there are Publix and Trader Joe's.

Your friend's commute is awesome. You're definitely finding some fun places to stop. Cheers!
