Nope, no rule about this so long as you're not hitting cars, which you weren't. She's just transferring her anger because she didn't pay attention. I don't get how justified people are at projecting their "rules" on the world. If we lived by my mother's rules, everyone would get seven swallows of water at a fountain because that's the way you do it. Sorry you had to deal with that woman. Interactions like that can get stuck in your mind. Here's to a better day!

You should have started talking in Italian and pretended to not understand. But since you didn't do that the truth is the lady is an ass and she should have looked. Sorry, everyone is so rude now a days.

I've had bad experiences that way. Because once you start speaking another language then they say "this is 'Merica, go back where you came from" and that would have escalated the situation for me and would have brought out my real anger.

People are cray cray! I am aware of no such rule, and I also go between cars if there is room. Hey, at least you were putting the cart into the cart return spot, so it isn't rolling around banging into other cars! Sounds like you remained calm and didn't really engage with her. Good job on that. I am sorry you had to experience that.

Not that I know. It is the responsibility of the person in a car to check the surroundings BEFORE she opens the doors of her car.

No such rule! Most people don't even try and take the cart to the cart depository.

No such rule and I love the way you handled it, I would have done the same. Crazy that someone can be so worked up over a something like that, so more pressing issues to be worried about...no harm no foul...

QJB-Do you ever cook with almond flour? I think it takes tweaking to make it good. However, DD and her friend did make a gluten free cake with almond flour in the recent past that was excellent. It sounded labor intensive and was more brownie like then actual cake. Maybe it was your carb detox that made you feel sluggish. I dislike that feeling so much. I never did hear what class you have this semester.

In office today. I started my day with a ultrasound of the liver. It was actually one where they only "shoot" sound waves at the liver to check its elasticity to determine if there is any fibrous tissue. Yesterday, I got the first in a series of 3 hepatitis A/B immunizations. I have several meetings today, otherwise the usual paperwork.

Yesterday, I was also feeling a bit sluggish and went back and forth about my weightlifting workout. I did finally go and had a really good workout. Yay! Oh yeah, I went to the monthly mystery movie last night. The movie was called Paint, starring Owen Wilson. He played a character similar to Paul Ross (the painter on PBS who is soft spoken and shows you how to paint). It was amusing with a great story line. I will try to go to the next mystery movie. Great price ($5) and a fun movie. DD and friends also liked the movie.

QOTD: I need to call the university financial aid department for DS. I am trying to help him with a student loan application but can't quite figure out how to get the application on his university account. I am committed to logging my meals, staying in my calorie range (with the help of tracking my meals) and doing my exercise this evening.

Accountability: Good. Did add an extra iced coffee with light half n half due to low energy mid-day but it worked into my calories.

B: triple zero great yogurt with berries, keto granola, cold brew with half n half

L: Asian lettuce and chicken salad, light sesame ginger dressing

D: Berry salad with chicken, light poppy seed dressing

S: protein frosty, 6 squares sf chocolate

E: 60 min hot yoga.
