Nope, I haven't listened to season 2 yet. I heard the first one, then realized the whole season hadn't dropped yet and I stopped. I have to binge them all at once when I am decorating cookies, so I hate when they don't come out all at once!

Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,

Congratulations on your successful class. I hope you get some hand relief. Do you think you have arthritis or is it just overuse? I hope you find something to lessen the pain moving forward.

My hands are a little ruff also this morning. Considering the temperature never went above freezing this weekend and I had to take Rudy on a bunch of walks. I can't pick up dog poop with my gloves on. They are nice a chapped. I covered them in Aquaphor so I hope it helps. We do not have a fenced yard so for the time being all outdoors needs to be done on a leash. You know I am looking into fencing today. It was nice to move as much as I did this weekend. Hims such a good boy. The twins came over for a visit and he was like a little vacuum cleaner getting every crumb that hit the floor. We kept him on the leash to make sure he didn't knock anyone over but by the end of the visit he was off the leash and laying in his bed. I think this is all good signs we got a great dog.

Ok than the rest of my weekend was spent binge watching Ted Lasso. Yes, this is as great as they say. The humor is the best I've seen in a long time. Did you know that George Wendt is Jason Sudeikis's uncle? I saw in Season two I think episode 5 there is a picture of him on a wall in the dinner. What a feel-good kind of show. I am obsessed.

Aww, glad Rudy likes to walk! At least, compared to your previous guest. If it were financially feasible, would totally look at fencing in at least my lower yard in a way that's more meaningful than the barbed wire I have. It would be great to just let the pup out in some instances!

Sadly, it's arthritis. I was diagnosed in 2018 when I had a hellish year at work and they told me that the stress was inducing flare ups. I'm the least stressed I have ever been home this year, but it's been flaring up a lot more, so I guess age is just catching up with me.

Also - raft and draft tis definitely an "activity"!

I recently developed arthritis in my thumb. At least I'm pretty sure it's arthritis - it's doesn't appear broken, and it's more an arthritis-y pain (I also have arthritis in my right hip and a little in my knees, so I know what that feels like). Unfortunately, it's in my right thumb, and I'm right handed. I hope I won't be one of those old people who can't open things anymore, but I might be...

QJB-that is great about your new space! How many people attend your class?

I did have a great weekend. Off work today. I have the mystery movie tonight so I will do my yoga this morning. I was going to lift weights but wasn't feeling it so decided to skip it. I can go later if I feel like it. I have an appointment to get the hepatitis A and B vaccine per my GI doctor suggestion this afternoon.

QOTD: I also like easy nature walks and kayaking.

G'morning all!

Hahahaha!!! Is it bad I understand the guy? After DD left, without eating much of the cookies I had bought, I put them in the freezer with the hope of forgetting about them. So far so good. BTW, per Amy's suggestion I found Lean bars (GNC brand) that have a gs cookie line. The Samoan ones are really good. I practically had to bribe an associate at rite aid to contact me every time they have it in.

Great weekend...my 10K race was so much fun and the scenery was gorgeous. We had enough fun that the 4 of us decided to sign up for the Santa Barbara one in Sept.I am waiting for the race org to publish the pictures, although I'm worried bcz half way through the race I took off my outer layer, with my bib number, and wrapped it around my waste. So I don't know if the runners without a bib number still get their pics on the site. My Sunday plans with fiends got cancelled, and I did lo n't mind it one bit. It was raining and I was in the mood for some sweets. So I went down the rabbit hole of low carb high protein desserts. I made a berry cobbler, with PP and just a couple of spoons of granola that was very yum. And the second desert was a ricotta cheese recipe with PB powder and sf Lily chocolates that you sorta blend and then goes in the freezer to be eaten like an icecream. Very interesting. The gal had said PB, but I used pb powder. Next time I'll put only 1 tbsp of pb powder because it was too Peanut buttery to me. But, I can see it taking the place of icecream when the sweet tooth hits you, which in my case is often. I'm trying not to deny myself completely, because it leads me to the F it attitude and eating the whole box of gs cookies, hence trying to find something that is not so damaging to our lifestyle of high protein low carb.

QOTD: hiking. Can't wait to restart our hikes, especially now with all the rains we got everything is so green.

My meals yesterday:

  • Coffee
  • Berry cobbler smoothie
  • Cottage cheese icecream
  • Left over Buffalo cauliflower
  • E: rest day

Happy start of the week!

Have you tried the chocolate PB powder? I bet it would be good in that recipe!
