Interesting! I wouldn't have though of Diet Coke and maple syrup but my dad's mom used to make her ham with a Dr Pepper glaze so I can see that!

The brisket had a very small hint of maple flavor, and was OK. The salt killed it.

Good morning ~ That meme reminds me of Sheldon from Big Bang Theory, the way his mama described him to the gang in one funny episode! One of my favorites. I had a very lazy weekend thinking it was going to rain non-stop but it didn't. No biggie, I am all caught up on my shows and finished YOU - holy **** after watching part 1 of season 4, I was thinking it it wasn't as good as prior seasons, but part 2 more than made up for that - so friggin' good! I also finished listening to Mr. Mercedes and started book 2 - Finders Keepers. Looking so forward to reading his new book Holly when it comes out in the fall - I love her.

QOTD - I wish! I'm accomplishing things, just not bucket list level yet

Accountability - mini carb funeral - so long my friends. High protein now

4 weeks until surgery, starting hair, nails and skin supplements and collagen per my NUT and stopping HRT for 8 weeks - so sad about this.

b- coffee, egg bites

l - chicken skewers

d - chicken skewers

s- protein bar, l&f yogurt

Have a great day!

I'm glad you didn't have as much rain as expected; the weather situation out there has just been crazy.

Hope the supplements help for you! And woo, high protein! It's so much easier after the horrible detox from carbs. Ugh. Don't envy you that.
