What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
Good morning from Garland, Texas. Our travels were easy yesterday and we got set up at the new place before noon.
I spent he 24 hours before that with a friend of Roger's who is a Trumper, a conspiracy theorist, and anti-vax. O. M. G. I nearly died. So for today's QOTD I am going with Are Elvis and JFK living on an island somewhere? (Interesting to note that they are anti vax, gave themselves, their adult children and their grandchildren Invectermin, but when the got Covid they went 400 miles away to Houston to get the experimental Covid relief drug's because their local provider wouldn't prescribe them because they hadn't vaccinated. And they were pissed at the local provider.)
Today we are going to Dubbya Bush Presidential Library and then out to dinner with friends. I have had three really good food/drink days in a row. Hoping to extend that to four today.
foods today include egg and ham for breakfast and then I don't know.
photos!
What we do at 1 pm on a Thursday, San Antonio Riverwalk and remembering the Alamo with my niece and her guy.

Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,
I love all the Photos QJB and the Leprechaun cookie is so cute. Looks a lot like Ron.
Aussie was saying something about Diet Soda yesterday and I had not had one since 2015. Amy posted something about it being ok to have them after 6 months so last week at the theater I broke my streak and had Diet coke with my popcorn. I have not had another since, but it was nice as a treat. Hey Jim, how did the Coconut Chi Pudding turn out? Did it actually get gelatinous? I am going to a winery for a pizza tasting tonight. There is a pizza truck that my friend is hiring to do an event and it will be at this winery. We are going to make sure it is good enough for her event. I am brining Ron to taste, and I will stick with the wine since you have to buy it by the bottle, I see no room for food.
QOTD: Me and every other Pittsburgher. Did Franco actually catch the ball during the infamous Immaculate Reception play. He took it to the grave we will never know.

Chrissy, it definitely got gelatinous overnight in the fridge. Since I didn't use any sweetener it was more coconut flavored and less sweet than what I have had at conferences, etc. But I liked it.

I like wine but between the two, I would have to go with the pizza. Even bad pizza is better than no pizza! Enjoy your evening!

G'morning all!
Late morning post from me. The atmospheric river (a term I did not know till last time we had these storms) is wreaking havoc in my neck of the woods. The rain and winds were so strong last night and I was very grateful for a warm and dry home. This morning outside looks like a scary movie: misty and foggy, you can't see the beach/ocean and everything is grey and drenched in water.
QJB - I love that sign picture. When I was on a college road trip with DS I saw a sign but with actual/real cities and their distances. I took a pic just because there was Florence in it.
QOTD: there are few "mysteries" in NorCal that I would like to know more about. 1) Mount Shasta and the Lemurian people. 2)Winchester mystery house and the real reason she built all those rooms. We always take out of towners and foreigners visiting us to Winchester mystery house. I love seeing their reaction to endless rooms and staircases that go nowhere. 3) mystery spot, how your perception changes from where you are standing.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Chicken skewers
- Jello, keto krisp choc chip (do not recommend), epic chicken
- Lentil soup (too many carbs, but DD requested it)
- E: 4.5 miles Wog (was able to squeeze in the wog before the skies opened up)
Happy Fri-yay!
