I've always loved the frosting roses on cakes. I'd love to be able to make something like that. For me, it was more about getting the rose than the cake.

QOTD. There are so many things I want to learn and try, I don't know where to start. I usually have several going at once.

Food today is sausages for breakfast, and likely Quest bars the rest of the day.

I love roses and all icing flowers! They are fun to make too.

When I was little, I liked the extra frosting but as I got older it was just too sweet. I got to the point where I would scrape off the extras (like the roses or edge of the cake frosting) to give to either DD or DH.

I don't eat them anymore. I rarely have ever. I just like looking at them lol

Hello all

Emotional day for me, had dietician and psych, didn't enjoy today, the food and lifestyle grief is so intense at times but better than it was and it will keep getting better.

QOTD: I'd like to learn basic car mechanics, I can barely change a tyre and I find that a bit annoying haha

Purée is my life for another week maybe and then here comes the soft food (bit nervous about real food tbh, but all part of the joy)

Have a good one all.

It can definitely be very hard. It's a good thing you're going to these appointments to work through things. I wish I had had those in the initial year.

What is the thing that you are most looking forward to in your new life? Focus on that instead of what you are "giving up". Do you have a plan for something that you are looking forward to? I had always wanted to try reformer Pilates and a bungee exercise class. I (mistakenly) thought I was too heavy for Pilates so my first goal was to get to the weight I thought I needed to be to do that class. Then I had getting below 220 so I could do the bungee class. They were specific, measurable and helped me focus on what I was gaining.

Aussie, I wish that I could work on cars as well.

Every day won't be easy, but in a year from now, you won't regret that you took this step. Nobody has ever come on here and said that they wished they could be obese again.

We are rooting for you.

They are easier to change if you start calling them tires, not tyres. And it has to be a chore, having to turn the lugnuts in the opposite direction.
