QJB- Is the accounting class getting any better?

It is my Friday today since I worked on Monday! Yay! Tomorrow, I need to take DD to see what the plan is for getting her remaining wisdom teeth out. They are all under the gums so need to be cut out. I have been resistant because of the cost of the procedures since the oral surgeons seem to think that everyone needs to be put to sleep for these procedures which really jacks up the price. It is so silly. When i had it done years ago, I received a valium to take beforehand then was awake the whole time. Granted I didn't care what was happening since the Valium... Anyway, the oral surgeon tomorrow does give the patient a choice of sleep vs. no-sleep. Then I am having a little Botox between the eyebrows and eye creases. Of course, a workout planned during the day.

QOTD: Those 3D frosting flowers are amazing. I can't wait to see what you learn and can do. Looks complicated. I think the next thing I would like to do/learn is aerial lyra and silks. I see a local studio offers intro classes frequently that I need to attend. Maybe after my 30-day yoga challenge is done. DD is also interested so it would be a fun thing to do together.

Accountability: added a decaf blended iced coffee with half n half, Worked into my calories overall! So good, not perfect.

B: triple zero greek yogurt with berries, keto granola, cold brew with half n half

L: Asian chicken salad with light sesame seed dressing

D: Summer berry salad with light poppy seed dressing

S: protein frosty, 6 squares sf chocolate

E: 60 minutes yoga

G'morning all!

QJB - those flowers look wow. But I agree with Matt, if your cookies become any more beautiful people won't eat them any more.

Have I told you guys about protein puddings? Especially those of you who still use Premier Protein? I had made them a long time ago but last week I saw them on tiktok and got back at making them. It's just one PP + 2 tblsp (half the package) of sf pudding powder, any flavor you want. Put them all in your bullet blender and blend. I then pour them in three jars and leave them in the fridge overnight. It makes the best high protein pudding. One serving is 70 cals, 10 gr protein, 5 gr carb. It really hits the spot for my sweet tooth.

QOTD: latin dance. I miss my Zumba classes, but not willing to go back to the gym. I'm looking for a dance studio for adults that teaches Latin dance. DH and I tried it 3-4 years ago with salsa, it was only a 6 weeks course, but he is a typical white boy, no hope for him. So I wanna do it by myself. I also wanna learn quilting, I hate sewing but I have seen so many beautiful quilts that I wanna try it. Once again looking for local classes.

My meals yesterday:

  • Coffee
  • Amy's egg bites w/turkey links
  • jello, protein pudding
  • Beef jerky
  • E: cardio + weight

Happy jr Fri-yay!

Quilting is a labor of love for sure. My sister used to make small quilts and I helped her with the one she made for my son - WOW, that was lot of work, more like precision science!

The flowers look amazing. Great job.

QOTD: learn more about different herbs and natural supplements. And to try - a bungee or ropes hanging yoga. There is one place in my area but they offer a very limited "first time classes", and they are not very close so.. ugh.

Accountability: yesterday wasn't a good day for my guts, so after work I stopped by a liquor store and bough my fav whisky. Got home and I had whisky for dinner. Got drank and slept on the sofa. My system started getting rid of the crap this morning. I almost did not make it to my 10:30am physical.

Today I plan to work late, stay at work overnight, (we have a type of a bedroom set up at work). I need to finish the accounting and close the books for 2022. ugh. I work best on that when nobody is at work interrupting me. And there is no drinking alcohol in the office so I know I wot be tempted... The alcohol in the house - I'll ask Keith to move it to his garage space. Out of reach. He likes that whisky, but he prefers cordials or liquors (expresso liquor) but that has too much sugar for me to even consider having any.

Today eats:

coffee, more coffee, tea and electrolytes, water

L: more electrolytes and water

D; homemade egg drop soup. I may add some chicken to it if I feel Imy gut is ready for it.

My fav whisky is "Monkey Shoulder" its smooth and easy on the pouch. I like it bit too much.

When we were in Scotland, we went to Glenfiddich which is a sister brand to Monkey Shoulder.
