So glad Keith got a great job offer! Congratulations to him!
Mel
I am very happy for him. Money is not an issue in our house, since beside expensive tools for him, books for me and vacations - there are only cats that we really spend money on. And since job during last few years is doing good, I did no mind to contributed more for the household expenses. But it really bothered him. PS: the stuff he does for me, my car, the house and the cats, plus the repairs and installation of household appliances - you can't put $$$ on that. I often work 60-80 hrs per week. So by the time Im home, I'm tired. Realy really tired, and in pain.

Good morning and Happy Valentine's Day my friends!
Yesterday I was able to walk a bit. I got 1 1/3 miles in and it took me twice as long as my usual walks that are longer, but I am taking the win. If this rainy patch passes, I am going out walking again today. I'm dressed for it, just need the weather to cooperate. I definitely feel improvement today in my back.
I stayed spot on for food yesterday as well. And today is black dog's 5th birthday. So he just got a treat and brown dog did too because what's a treat if you aren't sharing?
QotD: No plans and we just exchange cards. I did get him a Reese's Heart shaped peanut butter cup. Reese's are his love language.
Meals -- I am running out of things for breakfast and don't want to reload too much in this fridge since we are packing it all up and leaving. I'm hoping to just go to the store Sunday and bring it home and straight into the rig. But dinner, I've got covered. Frenched pork chops, parmesan potatoes and creamed corn. Roger loves all these things, and so he shall have them. I am sure my Mother is rolling in her grave. All the foods will be basically the same color and of all the things to fixate on with food, that was her button pusher. She was not a very good cook, and not only did we eat a lot of blech foods, fried food and very fattening foods and she made us eat every bite we were served...but you can bet your a$$ that you'd have at least 2 colors on your plate. I laugh in my head about this on the very few occasions we have a beige plate.
Peace Everybody!

Hoping your back continues to improve. I am sure the movement (walking) is helpful. I remember that post-op back surgery patients are told to walk walk walk.

LOL. Rog and my DH have the same love language. I always get him Reeses heart for V day!
Speaking of Reese's, Costco has farm animal crackers dipped in Reese's. I bought a bag for DS and when he tasted it he said his two best childhood foods combined is like heaven.
