Oh I love that! For me, one of the interesting things about seeing those differences in how you work is being able to see and appreciate what it can mean for thought diversity and balancing out a team.

Happy Braces Day!
I forgot about the Biggest Loser. The first few seasons were on when I was ay my biggest and I was completely sucked into thinking that I was just lazy. It really did a number on my self esteem.

Thanks! Yep, I'm there with you. It was a terrible show when it came to dealing with any of the issues or causes or setting you up for success. It did do a great job of making people think that 7 hours a day in the gym on 200 calories was what all large people should do. Not a good mindset at all!

that show was awful. One of those trainers (forget her name) was abusive! Plus I'm not surprised with their regain. Incredibly restrictive diets and spending an ungodly number of hours in the gym is not sustainable, and you're not changing lifetime habits. So when it ends, you're back to what you were doing before...

Yes! But so many people weren't aware of all the consequences. It looked like a massive success for the people who tortured themselves the most. Just unhealthy. And I read their metabolisms didn't recover in a lot of cases, even years later.

Thanks! And this one was with my boss today, so yeah. I haven't had direct reports in my last two roles but had for the ten years before that. Sometimes i miss it but never the tough conversations. This is more of a matrixed team, so things can get a bit complicated.
