Ah, other countries really know how to get to the point with their witty sayings, lol. I love it.
God I am with you. I thought I would never be where I am with regain and a sugar addiction again, but here we are. After about 3 years there really isn't much of a boost from the surgery anymore--it's all on us. And it's hard, dammit.

I was surprised that chocolate actually doesn't have as much sugar as things like baked goods.

I heard from a cancer specialist fried food is a carcinogen and should be avoided at all cost. I have not had a fried donut in years. Even before surgery I would only eat the chocolate cake with chocolate icing ones.

Good morning, everybody!
QJB I still have my Intermediate Accounting text from 1987. I suppose that I will throw it away when I retire. I used it to study for the CPA exam and I used to refer to it at work from time to time (although not in the last 30 years).
On my first day at work I was early and sitting out in Government Square in Boston and a woman that was going to be in my starting class was there as well. I was so intimidated because she was perfectly put together in her tailored suit and I was big fat dork. But later on, she told me that she was petrified of me because I passed all four parts of the CPA Exam in one try, during school, just studying from my textbooks. So you never know what is going on in other people's minds.
Does anybody have good plans for the Super Bowl? I think that we are just staying home to watch the game. No parties or anything. Between our neighborhood, friends, gyms, tennis, etc. we have plans most weekends in the warmer weather, but nobody seems to want to leave the house during February.
I guess that I will root for the Chiefs.
Next week is the annual ice fishing tournament that I do in our town, but its cancelled this year because the ice is not thick enough. That is fine with me because I don't want to take any chances of drowning.
QOTD: I am not actively opposed, but its not what I want to spend vacation time or travel budget on. If I happened to be in the area, I might go sometimes.
Breakfast: Fritatta
Lunch: Chicken
Dinner: Beef stew
Have a great day, everybody!
