What's on your Tuesday Menu?

Swap that book's title to "Financial Accounting: 5th Edition", please! Ugh. I spent almost 5 hours taking a quiz yesterday and I only got an 87. Who could have guessed that I would find statistics so much easier and more interesting than accounting? Today I need to bury myself into the second part of the big project that tripped me up the first time and I am not looking forward to it.
That stupid quiz and a few other unexpected dramas took up my whole day yesterday so I never got a chance to come back and read. I hope someone had an awesome cure for hiccups! I'll come back later to catch up.
Accountability: Grim took me out to lunch yesterday at a diner while we were out running errands. I got eggs and sausage links. He got a burger that was the size of his head (and he has a huge head!). I stole a few fries off of his plate, too. Then for dinner, I toasted a piece of naan bread to go with my veggie burger.
QOTD: Have you been to your HS reunions? I went to my 5th, 10th & 25th. At the 25th, I realized I was already in touch with the people I liked, and really didn't need to keep coming back, so I skipped the 30th and I don't think I will go to any more. But since I am back on Faceboo****ep getting tagged in old photos which is funny. Someone found a real gem from our 8th grade trip to Washington DC in 1988 and I swear my hair is like 7" high ;)
B: egg bites
L: turkey meatballs
D: almond breaded chicken

Good morning QJB and menuers,
I'm the same on books, except you can keep statistics on the list as well. An 87 in a subject you don't love would be a good score in my book, perfectionist though I am. So, congratulations on sticking it out either way.
QOTD- Nope. Tossed my cap, walked out and never looked bac****ep up with exactly one person from back then, though I was tangentially connected to a number of them back in my Facebook days around 2008 or so before deleting the whole shebang. Social media is not good for me.
Today is a team offsite. Strategy this morning, lunch somewhere and an escape room this afternoon. Haven't done one of those in years. Hopefully it will be one of the fun ones where everyone works together.
Accountability- ended up with half an egg, a turkey sausage patty, and part of a piece of whole wheat toast yesterday. Protein bar and oikos yogurt instead of other planned things. Not bad. Still up a pound and a half after travel. Hoping it comes down before Friday but my lose/stall phases seem to be taking on a pattern of 1/3 weeks.
Exercise - not today other than getting around and continuing to reset the house for family.
Menu - Ratio yogurt, protein bar, team lunch TBD, more parmesan chicken and risotto depending on lunch protein.
Have a wonderful day, everyone!

Have fun with the escape room! We really enjoyed it even though we failed.

Thanks! Was fun, and I enjoy the strategic thinking that goes with it. You must have had the super hard room!

Good mornin everyone.
Not a whole lot going on here. To say I'm feeling blah is an understatement. Also completely overwhelmed. The itching is just really bothering me. Sometimes the med they had me take helps and sometimes it doesn't...like tonight. I also think I have a bit of psoriasis starting up on each thigh.
No big plans for the day that I know of. My mom said something about a certain place she wants to go but I can't remember the places name. She's had a cold also of course I woke up with a sore throat this morning. She was tested for Covid and the flu and had neither. Just a viral thing going around. I kind of want to make some soup or stew. We'll see.
I bit the bullet and ordered another bag of my favorite coffee that's flavored. It's New Mexico Pinion Coffee. It's one of the only coffees that I like blonde roasted as I love the pine nut flavor so much. I got a two pound bag...it's so good and I highly recommend it. The flavor is so delicate and not in your face. Sooo smooth and good. They have it where you buy one get one half off so my mom wanted one called adobe morning. It has baking spices a hint of hazelnut and something else I think. I know it smells good but I'll be trying it today. If anyone wants the link I'd be happy to share it. You can also get the pinion in medium and dark roast!
QOTD: no...and I never will. I hated it so so much. I fell through the cracks so hard I made new cracks.
B: not sure yet coffee of course.
L: soup, either a can or homemade
D: fish and broccoli
S: pepitas and ????
Mel
I like that saying about the cracks. Nice turn of phrase, Mel.

Good morning from this very early riser! Are we all ready for Tuesday? I am!
qotd - I attended my 10 year, planned my 20, realized that I talked to the people I actually liked on a regular basis and opted out of the rest. I did get asked about planning the 30th but said "F**k No" (and I didn?t use the asterisks, lol).
Busy day at work and I have my personal trainer this evening but otherwise a nice quiet Tuesday. I am about to go row too even though it?s not a planned day, but I have time and a long way to go to 50!
menu today
coffee plus half and half x3
ratio yogurt
ever roast chicken on a pita
rgf chicken bites
have a great Tuesday everyone
