I had something similar years ago, but this tool looks more substantial and effective. For now I think I'll stick to yoga and stretching. If I need more I will definitely consider that - thank you!

You can also try massage therapy....I find it very helpful when they focus on the body part that is problematic.

I'm so sorry to hear that you are in pain, Amy! Fractured ribs are no joke. Congrats on the no wine. I am amazed at how much better I feel.

I feel better also - I'm still having wine on the weekends though. Eventually, the goal is 1 day a week.

when I switched to wine on a weekend and only when we go out - I discovered that wine significantly increases my inflammation. I would be in double pain from the day before - my arthritis. Really bummed me out.

Were you previously drinking everyday with no or less noticeable effects? My aches and pain issues are hit or miss.

when I follow a really good keto diet and I don't drink alcohol daily, or even weekly, getting a glass or 2 of wine with dinner - I can definitely feel the pain gets so much worse. My pain when I follow a good for me diet can be 4-6 and easily controlled by limited amount of pain meds. But after the wine - pain was 8-9 and pain meds just barely touch it. It's more bone - arthritis type pain, very deep and throbbing.

Oh no! I'm sorry about your rib. Hopefully there's a better plan for fractured ribs these days than just waiting it out while it heals. That's a scary reality from a chiropractor. Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Oh don't we wish we could just melt those lbs off!! Before WLS I had so many fantasies about losing the weight the fast way and I tried them all. Nope, nothing but diet and exercise and slow going.
QOTD: can I pile on the wagon of men commenting on women's bodies? Good or bad, it's just cringy in 2023. It was cringy no matter when but you'd think by now they must have learned their lessons. Don't know if you guys saw it but this beautiful woman who is a VP at her company is presenting via zoom to three other people all men. By the end of the call by accident she sees the notes of these three men who were commenting about her appearance. Very professionally she told them if they get to work together going forward she needs to work with their female reps. Those A holes.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Turkey links, chili lime pork rinds
- Sf jerky, jello, iced coffee w/PP
- Was planning to have the SF jerky just for snack but somehow ate so much of them that they became dinner.
- E: cardio + Weight
