Good morning~ Happy Tuesday! End of the month stuff at work today, nothing major though. Taking our cat to the vet this afternoon - it's a two person job. He's still losing weight even though he eats a ton. I imagine they will increase his thyroid meds - they are trying to slow it down. He is almost 16 now. My chest/rib on the left side is really starting to bother me. Last week my chiro did a weird adjustment that hurt pretty bad. He said to put heat on it and that it should be better after a week, but it's feeling worse. Could I have a cracked rib? That is what keeps coming to mind.
QOTD - Some - lottery and Kentucky Derby for me. Rob loves sports betting and poker. He doesn't bet much money which always surprises me. My sister and her husband go the casino and drop thousands regularly. Over the years they've hit it big a couple of times.

I know chiropractic works for so many people, I have a cousin that is a chiropractor but I just don't trust the whole adjusting process. I'm afraid of exactly that, getting an adjustment that breaks something else. I hope you feel better soon and the pain lessens!!

Mornin' All!
so I have my usual online Mah Jongg game this morning (we recently switched to mornings because of people's schedules - which opened up a lot more class options for me, so I'm fine with the change). My urban planning/geography class is this afternoon ("Introduction to the City" - so, it's about cities, of course - planning, development, history, etc). I'll probably bus over to campus since it's a little warmer today (high of 15 F, I think - so not warm, but I think I can walk a couple of blocks in it - i.e., to and from the bus stop).
I'm feeling really stuffed and bloated this morning, so I'll have to watch my salt intake and drink lots of water, I think (my calories were fine yesterday, so it wasn't that...). It seems weird that when I go to bed not feeling hungry (not stuffed, either - but just not hungry), I often feel stuffed in the morning (and when I DO go to bed hungry - I'm not feeling hungry in the morning, either - I don't feel stuffed, but I just don't want to eat). In other words, I almost never wake up hungry, regardless of how I felt going to bed. Must be some weird hormone action that happens overnight..
QOTD: I'm too funny about money to gamble. I've been to a casino maybe three or four times in my life, and that was years ago. Each time I'd decide how much I was willing to lose (usually $10 or $20), and then if I lost it, that was that. I'd walk away. Once I won about $250. I was a senior in college, so that was kind of big deal.
B: I may just have a protein shake to get some protein in my stomach. I've already had coffee with half & half

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood with the sun shining currently... And a -1 windchill.
QOTD - I gamble. I love playing poker, whether a local game or at a casino. I used to play online but the government put the kibosh on that. I also use the online sportsbooks for a few bucks per bet to have a little bit of a vested interest in games. I played bingo a couple weeks ago and that was more than I like to spend on games of chance.

Good morning everyone and happy Tuesday! The long week rolls on!
late post for me, I wanted to get my workout in and then I went right into early meetings but I have a break now. I'm off at 1 today for a couple of appts.
I did finish my elliptical series and met my exercise goals for the month!
qotd - I have gambled, just slots but not a thing I do regularly. My dad had gambling issues so it's not tons of fun in my eyes. I'm happy to drop my 20 in a slot machine if I'm in vegas and move on when it's gone.
