That's too bad, Marie. I was looking forward to meeting you. But you have to get healthy!

At least it will give me more time to prepare for Lisa.

I'm sure there will be another time! Strangely, I was on the phone negotiating about Chicago (because they called and I thought they were someone else I needed to talk to) while waiting in the prep room for my surgeon yesterday. I didn't have a date yet and she took time out of her day to send me options that I now have to decline. Sad, since this was an event I really wanted to attend. I did learn they have another one in May or so...maybe it will be up that way!

Outside of my super purposefully erratic road trips, it would be great to meet some of the menuer crew! During my personal travel I don't know where I'll be most of the time, or for how long. For example, I was practically within shouting distance of some folks last fall but buzzed through so fast...and Pittsburgh was totally unplanned until the pierogi diversion. :)

Also to say...depending on work events, I'm hoping to be at the next OH conference for all of the learning and networking reasons. Fingers crossed for no conflicts there!

I had mine out via laparoscopy. It didn't bother me just a whole lot. Good luck!

That's good to hear - thanks for sharing! I think what you have to handle on a daily basis might be more to balance than this, especially now!

People can really get crazy with their compliments. You'll get used to it. Good Luck with the GB surgery.

So I'm noticing! I don't look at old pics of me if I can help it and I'm doing a lot to work on myself both internally and externally the last couple of years...but we live in our skins day to day. I'm just...me, and the same person I've been, thiugh still with a growth mindset. I've always had to work to accept compliments, so it's an interesting process!

And thanks! Hoping for super quick since I'm on the early side of the issues!

I did not find the gallbladder surgery to be more painful than the initial surgery so hopefully you will experience the same. I did not need anything more than Tylenol for discomfort. Glad to see they have a plan for you.

I have my gall bladder out a few years ago and was out raking leaves the next afternoon. I took one dose of the pain medicine, just in case, but had no pain at all. It was a quick in and out in a few hours and no problems after.
