What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
QJB- sounds like you are a busy lady for the next several months. I am glad you enjoyed your impromptu movie.
yesterday was an early wake up for our trip to Denver. Flight was uneventful. I erroneously decided to use public transportation to get around but after waiting for buses, etc plus the cold I decided I was crazy. Hello Uber. The rodeo was awesome then the dancing horses beautiful. Today we head to the Coors Brewery Tour with the concert at 9pm. So we will have some time to fill in between. I am giving DD some choices. Saturday will be another stock show midday. So some fun stuff to do. That is my weekend plans.
QOTD: I last saw one at my annual visit so will most likely continue that.
Accountability: what is that?? Food was up in the air and I did a I am on vacation eating.
meals are tbd. No exercise planned except walking.

My son goes to school in the town with Coors Brewery. We go to Woody's for pizza and his favorite is Sherpa House which is Nepalese (probably more Bariatric friendly)

G'morning all!
Why did they change the name Ove to Otto? Was it really that hard to pronounce it? I loved the book and can't wait for it to be streamed.
Well, the Pres came and went but we weren't able to see him. The vista point I had in mind to watch him from, was blocked by secret service. Come to think of it, it makes sense because you would be almost on a tall building while he is down there giving his speech; very dangerous. So the closest we came to him was when he and his escort flew over our house on his way to and from.
QOTD: not any more. I liked our center's nutritionist and she ran our monthly support meetings. But during Covid they got cancelled and they never put them back on.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Shredded chicken w/cauliflower thins
- Fage yogurt w/few choc chips
- Sweet & sour soup
- E: 4.5 miles neighborhood uphill wog
Happy Fri-yay!

Cool pics. Bummer that you didn't get to see him, though.
I loved the book too, but I think it was a good choice to change the name--the odd, old-fashioned American name sort of helped get across that he was always a little aloof.
Good Morning and Happy Friday,
We made it through another week!
Taking a five minute break so figured it must be an opportunity to post.
QJB - What a nice way for your husband to plan a movie excursion and get quality time together. Unless he just said 'I'm kidnapping you and then you had to plan the rest.' It's great that, in your super busy schedule, you are able to make the most of your free time.
I posted this late last night... Yesterday was rough - ran into big financial issues with school loans and a smaller issue with unanticipated, immediate car repairs. I 'll figure it out and make it work.
Weekend looks like it should be busy and some fun mixed in, in the form of Poker with old friends and family time(as long as I can secure safe transportation to bufu burbs.) It's too far to Uber to Ingleside and trains don't get me close enough.
QOTD - I now see my nutritionist / NP monthly since I struggled last summer.
B: PP shake.
L: rotisserie chicken and carrots.
D: either leftover 1/2 hamburger or salad with turkey.
Couple quick pics - a recent one of me and the tree outside my house with a gentle reminder not to park there.
