Thanks for the feedback! Guess I've been staying at some, er, lower-class hotels. My company negotiates rates and I'm limited to stuff that's in policy.

Should pick up some resistance bands - thanks for reinforcing the idea! In addition to some carbs, I was instructed to increase resistance training as well. I have a kettlebell and some free weights, and I can crank up the resistance on both the elliptical and recumbent bike...but none of those things travel well. Cheers!

I have a set it just keep in my suitcase. It's part of my trying to not find excuses to not work out approach. I also have to stick to corporate's hotel choices but they are pretty good; I tend to select from the options by "did I have trouble getting coffee at that chain" or "oh they have 24 hour coffee but it's only available after 6 am", plus safety and where I can walk to get dinner vs drive

I like your priorities! Apparently in this role we don't get rental cars much for travel, so the walking distance possibilities are higher on my list, too. You're welcome to all the coffee. :)

Good morning, everybody!

Chrissy, MILF Manor is a little more ick than I even realized initially. Did we know that the boys who were co-habitating with the MILF's were the sons of the women on the show? Who on earth would be so attention hungry that they would go on a reality show like that with their Mom? Or child? I don't think that I can watch. And for the record I would be equally creeped out if the sexes were reversed.

I am in the office to do mid-year reviews today. I know that when you are just starting out in your career, 6 months is a long time, but to me it goes by in a flash and I can't even remember what I did or who I worked with. We should have free lunch though, so there is that.

After starting the year with two weekends away, I am counting down the days to a quiet weekend at home to get organized. Four days to go.

QOTD: Minion.

Breakfast: Fritatta

Lunch: Catered, so not sure

Dinner: Fish tacos

Have a great day, all!

Oh yeah, I checked it last night and I am in 100% agreement. Ron is 10 years my junior so I thought I could relate. These are babies. The women in there 40 and 50's and the boys in their early 20's. It was super creepy. The one woman has 6 kids to different men. What? I hope TLC gets some push back on this one and they drop it. I will not be checking in anytime soon.

my husband is 10 years younger than me, too, and that's about as far apart as I'd want to get. When you're talking 40/50 year olds with 20 year olds - yikes - what do they even talk about? They're in completely different stages of life. Early 20s are thinking about their future careers - or going to grad school - or finding a life partner. 40/50 year old - thinking about - I don't know - replacing their roof? At least, that's kind of where I was at those two stages.

Good morning ~ Yesterday was nice and relaxing and semi productive. Didn't get all the things done, but I wasn't lazy -so good! Today, I have a busy day and training - the usual. I am moving and standing as much as I can remember to do and it's getting better. Today should be a good a stand day. I received my new arch support shoes. They aren't as cute as I hoped, but they'll do.

I need to calm down on buying so many fresh vegetables I'll never be able to finish! I went a bit nuts this weekend after a deep dive on Pinterest for salad/veggie bowl ideas and air fryer recipes.

QOTD- The Only One in Show

Accountability - dinner was leftover chicken and 2, 25 cal tortillas.

B- coffee x 2, Costco egg bites

L - chopped street corn salad w/ black beans

D - carne asada taco bowl

S - tomatoes, omega trex mix

Have a wonderful Taco Tuesday!
