What's on your Wednesday Menu?

I blame my weird clinic! I want the vegetarian sources of protein but they mostly say no because of calories and carbs, so to them the macros aren't worth it. Same folks who told me last time when I'm having issues eating meats to just suck it up since it was for a short time. One said edamame is okay, one said no. I'm going with yes. This is part of my balance because they're healthy foods and I really want to get back to more plant-based as soon as I'm able to. Low carb does work for me, though!

I had full on braces as a young adult. I had 4 teeth pulled, in addition to the wisdom teeth. It was more painful than I thought, when the braces were tightened I could not eat for a few days. BUT. It was totally worth it. Once the braces are off and you see your new smile, you will not regret it!
Congratulations on the NSVs! So awesome.
My BIL had braces as an adult. I think that the treatment did take a bit longer due to the maturity of the bones. However, he did get really great results. I don't think he needed extractions. If your teeth bother you or you just want to look better, I say go for it!

Thanks for the feedback! A lot of it is probably aesthetics but I do have overcrowding that will cause problems in the long run, so definitely a consideration! Glad your BIL had good results.

I had overcrowding and cross bite issues that due to my night clenching causes a lot of problems. I had Invisalign at 50 years old for 3 years. It was long and tedious. YOU have to be 100% compliant for best results. I think if I could do it over now, I would have chosen regular braces and been done in half the time. It's nice that invisalign are not noticeable, but they are a huge pain too. I say do it! One day it will be over and you will love the result.

The seatbelt and the towel wrap are the best NSVs first time they happen.
5 yrs out and I still worry if the towel wraps around every time I'm at a hotel, and jump up and down when it does.

Haha, I may have taken a picture to commemorate it...I went through it with my standard size towel at home but it's different in the hotel. And I was almost in a state of disbelief at how much room I had on the plane! Yep, these are good victories to achieve, and to remember.:)
