Good morning ~ We have been getting quite a bit of rain here and although we need it, we're very saturated. It's gloomy too, but I don't mind at all as it fits my mood these days - although I don't care for the wind. I have a lot to do at work today - it's the beginning of the month yet I feel behind already - but busy is a great thing. Taking dinner to family tonight after work then home to collapse in front of a fire while the hubs makes me dinner - not too shabby.

QOTD - When I was 8/9 y/o - 3rd and 4th grade. We lived in North Carolina at the time and I was the happiest there and wish we didn't have to move. They are my favorite childhood memories.

Today:

b- coffee x 2, eggs w/avocado

l - Mexican cauli rice and black beans w/salsa

d- ham and spinach

s-tomatoes

e -60 min yoga/stretch

Have a great day

I didn't know you used to live in NC! Where? I went to high school (last two years, anyway) in Raleigh, and then lived up in the mountains (Watauga and Avery counties). In total, i lived in NC for ten years.

It was 1974-1976 we lived at Camp LeJeune. I loved it there.

Good morning, everybody!

I miss Matt on these Wednesday's. He alway**** us with a camel or Humpty Hump to cheer us up.

I have a nutritionist appointment later this morning. I'm comfortable with my weight, but would like to get my blood sugar down, so hopefully we can talk about that.

I'm not a frequent weigher, but after my long travel day, without dinner the preceding night, and probably dehydrated I weighed on Christmas Eve morning and was 222.4 That is probably BS to some degree, but my goal for the year was 227 and I had hit that about a month before. I think that I was 243 at the beginning of the year.

Marilyn and my youngest son are headed out this morning. I was up early because I had to go the 24 hour pharmacy and get my Ozempic prescription refilled because they actually had some in stock. Other than that lifting and work.

QOTD: I think that 4-6 was a fun time before school started. I dropped out of preschool because the scissors were too small for my fingers.

Breakfast: Protein bar

Lunch: Chicken Schwarma

Dinner: meatloaf

Have a great day, all!

Awesome job in meeting your goal. I haven't been able to weigh (the whole non weight-bearing thing) and I haven't decided when I will, I don't want to mess with my head too much until I can back to some physical activity. Sending smooth travel vibes to Marilyn.

Thanks Kelly. She made it home safely with her kayak but may have drove my son a little crazy with her stress about the straps.
