Those cookies will always have to be referred to as that!

Ok, so I googled them. Yeah, they would not be safe in my house with a cup of coffee. Glad they are all gone! Now can you come eat the dang lasagna??? Roger just isn't interested. I tried to foist it off on the grands yesterday, but they went with PB&J.

we have leftover lasagna here, too, since half of it was still left over from Christmas after 1) eating it and 2) DH and my niece taking some of the leftovers. I had a very small piece last night (I was able to work it into my calorie limits!) - but DH has been working on the rest of it. Fortunately he likes it, else I'd have to re-home it. It does freeze well - but then, if Rog doesn't like it, that's not gonna work for you...

Good Morning! JB- continue to rest and feel better. You've been pushing yourself hard so it's good to rest up. I don't like stuffing (I know, no hate please!) but I don't think it's ever spicy?! Thinking of Teenie today.

QOTD: Not really. I try and stay comfy (baggy) clothing. I'm haven't been comfortable in some of my dresses (and some don't fit) so I have goals when I'm able to get back at working out.

Good morning, everybody!

I did my first cardio workout since Wednesday and was on the couch for about 4 hours afterwards. It will take a few days to get back into the swing of things, I guess. In an odd twist of fate, I slept through the mulled wine that the kids made - usually it is the wine that causes me to sleep through everything else.

DD made the Latkes with tinned salmon:

Those were definitely a hit with me and leftovers will be my lunch today.

It is supposed to warm up this afternoon, so I may accompany Marilyn to a few stores to return items. Other than that, I have lifting this morning. I have something for work that I keep putting off, but maybe I will look at it today. If not, tomorrow.

We have happy hour tonight. I think that we are going to try champagne ****tails that one of our friends made last week.

QOTD: Fit and fabric yes, trends not really. Although men's styles don't change very much and when they do it is a slow process.

Breakfast: Tenderloin and potatoes

Lunch: Latke and salmon

Dinner: Happy Hour

Have a great day, all!

it's unfair how long it takes to build cardio conditioning and how fast it disappears

Good morning. Waiting for the girls to arrive. It's been steadily raining for the last 8 hours and I enjoyed waking up through out the night and listening to the rain. I find that very pleasant.

Yesterday was a YAY for food for me. Good choices all day long including one Hershey kiss that I definitely had cals for. I got in a 40 minute walk and 15 minutes of resistance bands and yoga. Still trying to work out the ache in my bootie muscle.

Today we may trolley downtown and watch the Holiday bowl parade. Roger read that it has more balloons then the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade. I've lived here forever and never knew that. If weather makes that not feasible, I think I'll take the girls to the library. They are watching Youtube shows and learning about Greek Mythology, so I thought maybe I could interest them in some books on that subject matter.

QoTD: Maybe the tiniest bit. I'm more of a "it feels like me" comfortable then fashionista for sure. I have several pairs of skinny jeans, and I am not a fan. No matter how skinny you are, they are a wrestling match to get out of at the end of the day and I hate the way the ride up my calves and have to be pulled down.

Menu today:

B: leftover stuffed pepper insides and cottage cheese. Just two days left of this

L: if we take the girls, I'll have to figure something at a restaurant. If we are home, left over turkey and a tiny bit of stuffing -- that is definitely not spicy at all! And the last scoop of cranberry sauce.

D: making a bit pot of crack chicken and will serve over rice for everyone else at the table.

Peace Everybody.

I am the exact opposite! They will have to pry my skinny jeans off my corpse. I know they are "out" but I will not give them up, lol
