What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?

Like Jim, we didn't get as much snow yesterday as they were predicting, either - 2-3" was all. It's supposed to do a lot of blowing around today, though, and it's cold as all get-out. Minus 11 last time I checked five minutes ago. We rarely get those kinds of temps any more, and almost never this early in the season. That's the stuff of late January (when we get them at all...). Regardless, it'll be a PJ day for me, too. I'll be making the marinara sauce for the Christmas lasagna (will do the rest of the lasagna tomorrow and then just re-heat it on Christmas day - it's always better re-heated on the second day than it is right out of the oven). And I'll continue reading this book my urban history professor friend recommended to me on mid-century redlining in Chicago (and other things that caused the extreme neighborhood segregation - but redlining was the main factor). The book is huge, but luckily very engaging.
I noticed the other day that the MFP/Fitness pairing has an option to do negative calorie adjustment, where instead of just keeping you at your baseline all day if you don't get up off your butt (and only starting to give you some extra calories when you get above a certain amount of steps, which for me seems to be around 3500), it actually starts to DELETE calories from your baseline if you don't do a lot of moving around. I thought this would be an incentive to get up and move every 45 minutes or so - on top of getting 30-60 minutes of intentional exercise, but it's really starting to get to my head. I'm starting off the day today with 155 calories deducted from my baseline - which makes sense since the only "exercise" I've had so far is going out to the kitchen to get my morning coffee. Yesterday I was also homebound - so I did a half hour of some youtube dance video, and I went from -188 calories to -40 calories after exercising (and ended the day with -65, since I didn't get around to intentional exercise until around 8:00 last night. I evidently got docked another 25 calories before going to bed because I didn't get any exercise between finishing the fitness video and the time I went to bed). Good Lord this thing cracks the whip! I may have to turn it back off if it starts mucking with my mind too much.
QOTD: I did up until I was five or six. We lived in a predominantly Jewish neighborhood, so my friends clued me in...

I could never eat the deer cookies there too cute.
I been up since 4:30 to put my crockpot on (ham with brown sugar maple syrup and Jack Danials) for the potluck here at work and could not fall back to sleep. When I woke it was 45° raining and windy. By the time I left the house at 8 it was 6° frozen over and blustery blowing snow. It took a little extra time to make the 20-mile truck through the storm, but I made it safe and sound. The power at home flickered a couple times so I am keeping my fingers crossed. The family gathering with my cousins that was scheduled for tonight has been cancelled and I decided tomorrow I shall sleep in. I am not going to the gym but should after this potluck. I have already been nibbling at the cheese.
QOTD: I did till age 7 when my middle brother told me and showed me where they hid the gifts. I did get my Smiley lamp that year and made a bunch of money on it years later when I sold it on eBay.

Water and Vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. I also use Miralax and fiber in my first coffee of the day.
